Well for this particular game, I leveled all my pokemon to around 82-85, using my remaining rare candies and repetitive training, then I simply used my wisdom of elemental weaknesses to my advantage once I saw each of my pokemon had their proper moves learned, and it was pretty much a well-fought victory from there.

My two best Poke'mon sort of just smoked the competition for the first round.

Snorlax lv.67
Body Slam
Rest
Thunder
Sleep Talk

Blastoise lv.48
Brick Break
Water Pulse
Rain Dance/Blizzard
Bite

For Lorelei, I used Thunder ALOT.

For Bruno, I whittled my way through with Water Pulse and some help from Snorlax

For Agatha, I dominated her Ghost-Types with Bite and my Snorlax beat her others.

For Lance, I used the TM Blizzard on Blastoise before I fought him and totally desolated him with Blizzard and Thunder.

For Blue [ Bobby for me ], Pidgeot was dead with Thunder, Venesaur was dead with many Body Slams and Bites, Gyarados was dead with Thunder and Body Slam, Arcanine was dead with Body Slam and Water Pulse, Alakazam was dead when Light Screen wore off and Snorlax destroyed it with one Body Slam, and Rhydon died with a few doses of Water Pulse.

AND THAT IS HOW I BEAT THE ELITE FOUR!

Aw man I can't remember how I beat them the first time... my LG game has 150 hours on it O_O I've been beating on them constantly since they got their rematch teams though, I just go off and train a team of six Pokemon with a variety of types to compliment and cover each other, EV train them to bring out their max potential, make sure I give them a good, balanced set of four moves, then exp train them to lvl 70 and go whup on the E4. Probably could beat them with only training to like 65 or so, but it's whatever.

Hi..
you could always train in Victory Road.
Thats the best place to train for the Elite Four for now.
You can put an Exp. Share on another Pokemon so your training two at a time rather than just one.

Raise to Lv100 would be the best way to you beat Elite Four and beating Elite Four you raise to Lv100

Both are done in the sametime

Not entirely true. I beat the elite four with the following team:
Venusaur lv34
Pidgeot lv36
Gyarados lv35
Electrode lv38
Ninetails lv34
Snorlax lv31

I used Venusaur, Gyarados, Ninetails, and Pidgeot as my hitters. Snorlax was my shield to use revives, and Electrode was my last resort to use either self destruct or explosion. I had a ton of full restores, revives, and full heals.

I'm pretty sure that Articuno learns Foresight and Sheer Cold. 100% Accuracy on a One-Hit KO move? Yes.
