I think it would be useful like in the Art section, you would have prefixes that say "Graphic", "Fan Art" and "Original Art".. We could also play around, maybe have one that says Graphic Shop, but that really is just a bonus and not needed.

These prefixes could be used for the Writing section as well, "Pkmn Based Roleplay" "Non PKMN Based Roleplay"

So just as suggestion.... ^^;

Anyway really like the new section organization. :D

That's not a bad idea at all! The art boards can still keep their organization if those prefixes are implemented, as well as other boards. That way you're not clicking all over the place trying to figure out what's what. xD
But then again the views are nice.

Still, though, I really like this new layout. Although I'm a little sad at seeing some of those 'Other' forums go, seeing as I did post in them occasionally, everything does seem quite a bit less cluttered now, which is always good. It all really does look a lot cleaner.

I do have to agree that keeping the URPG/ASB/POL boards separate is a good idea, though. Even if I'm not active in those forums at all, combining them into a single entity is bound to cause a few issues in terms of viewablility.

xD So you'd only really have to click on the section you want to get to to view all it's boards and stuff. xD It just gives the place a neater look and doesn't make the forum SO LONG! I hope that makes some sense?

I got that. Hence why I said 'They should keep their own categories', not 'their own forums'.

I assumed categories are what they're called, since they are on InvisionFree.

But I think it should remain as:

Ultra RPG
+General
++Subforums
+Battles
++Subforums
+Stories
++Subforums
+National Park
++Subforums
+Contests
++Subforums

Anime-Style Battling League
+[whatever the forums and subforums are]

Pokemon Online League
+[whatever the forums are subforums are]

Because, with what you're proposing, things would get confusing, as 3m0d0ll said, because it'd go:

Pokemon RPG
+Ultra RPG
++General
+++Subforums
++Battles
+++Subforums
[etc...]

Which is exactly the same as how it's laid out in BMG, and I don't like that.

And what does the length of the forum really have to do with anything? Honestly? It's not like people will scroll down and think "OMG THIS FORUM IS LONG IT SUCKS"...

There is such a thing as "minimizing" a certain section if you don't visit those boards anyway. I usually do it with the Pokemon Games and the URPG/ASB/Wifi boards anyway.

THAT WAY I CAN SEE JUST THE ART BOARDS AND THE OTHER CHAT. :D

Many people who posted where expressed a dislike for merging the RPGs into one category, yet it still went ahead.

Also, apart from Teo, none of the mods acknowledged the posts saying that we don't want it to happen, even though other mods have posted since. Also, Teo's main point was about neatness, when we've said 'we as members don't care about the length of the forum, so long as it's within reason'. I, for one, actually think the forum's too short now - it makes it seem like we've got less to offer, because some people are just going to judge by first glances. So I really would like to know what the unignorable point was that meant we couldn't keep them separate.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Only 3 or 4 people disagreed with the new organisation of the RPG boards, which isn't much considering the amount of people that use the forum.

I'm aware a lot of people may not have checked this thread and would therefore not know what was happening, but now that the boards have been rearranged everyone will be able to tell whether they prefer the new organisation or not. If you really disagree with the new organisation feel free to make a new thread in this board listing your concerns. If its clear that a large amount of users prefer the forums to be spread out, then we can always change things back or rearrange things further. =)

I don't really care about the change in layout, I can generally get used to anything. However, I am disappointed that the TCG section got axed without any notice. (Not like anyone except me would have complained in the first place)

Um, what happened to the sign-up section in the Roleplay Boards!? WHO DELETED THAT!

Listen, that section is needed in the worst way. Without a specific section for it, I find it very likely that the new people to that section will think that Sign Ups aren't necessary since there is no section for them. Ensues a flood of noob RPs.

I want the section back, and I feel many will agree with me. If that section isn't back, I'm bringing my combustible lemons and burning PE2K headquarters down. With the lemons.

Nuff said.

(Actually, I won't burn PE2K headquarters down. But I want the SU section back NAO.)
