Team Sandstorm (Crappy title, I know)
Hey PE2K, I've been using this team for a while now and it got me from around 1000th to 250th. I've been wanting to improve it, so hopefully you all can help me out =P
Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 180 SAtk / 76 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Ice Beam
- Stealth Rock
He's the lead, and he's served me pretty well. Ice Beam OHKOs Gliscor, Flamethrower OHKOs Skarmory and 2HKOs Ferrothorn, and Crunch does great against Psychics like Lati@s and Reuniclus. Not much to say here, moving on:
Scizor (M) @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Atk / 216 SDef
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- Bug Bite
A Bulky SDer, his BP has saved me a couple of times. He's walled by Steels, but I have Magnezone to remedy that.
Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Electric]
A walling duo with Gliscor, he takes both kind of attacks- special or physical- but I usually use him up against special since Gliscor is great against physical. Wish helps my team out a lot, especially when I make an error and have a Pokemon down at a low health.
Doryuuzu (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sand Throw
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Rock Slide
My late game sweeper, he does craploads of damage with Sand Rush. I've considered both SD and Frustration, but SD has been more useful currently. Also, I've considered using Balloon on him, but the loss of power has been painfully obvious.
Magnezone @ Balloon
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 40 HP / 252 SAtk / 216 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
He helps out Scizor, Gliscor and Excadrill immensely by taking out the Steels. Ferro is 2HKO'd at full health by HPFire, while Skarmory is instantly killed by T-bolt. I've been having trouble with things like Luke that can hit Magnezone hard, however.
Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 176 HP / 80 Atk / 252 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
His power is underrated, and Normal and Ground offer pretty decent coverage buffed by Steel-trapping of Magnezone. I'm not sure what to use on the final spot, but have decided on Substitute for now. Protect and Toxic are my other options.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Also, feel free to take this team for your own use, if anyone wants it.

Did you know that Shuckle can do the most damage in all Pokemon games combined?
