Hi there. As some of you may have read in another thread of mine I will soon be looking to get some experience with Wi-Fi battling. I would like to take a moment of your time to pick your brains about the team I wish to use.

Any and all feedback is appreciated as I am a complete NEWB at the competitive side of Pokémon.

Sorry I was just a little busy, but here goes. Honestly, when I read the title I thought it would be a team full of in-game, useless pokemon. But this is actually a very decent team. This has tons of potential

Firstly, Scizor is not the best lead in Gen 4. It is countered by several other considerable threats such as Heatran. Also, run Choice Band on Scizor rather than Leftovers.

Your team is generally quite weak to a Choice Scarf Flygon. So, instead of running Scizor as a lead, run Heatran. Have Scizor on your team, but run Heatran as the lead. It would help. Get rid of Zangoose, its very frail.

Replace Umbreon with a Bronzong, it will take care of your flygon issue. Good Luck and next time add a description for why you put the Pokémon in the first place.

your team is made up of almost all physical attackers. Tou need to find a way to balance it out more. Id get ride of zangoose right away and replace it with a good heatran counter. Suicune or Vap

This team needs some balance, currently with the sets you have you are basically all out attacking with some random stuff thrown in. not to mention the fact that some pokemon are outclassed. I know these are your favorite pokemon but if you want it to be competitively viable you have to use pokemon that work well in synergy together.

Currently this is what your team consists of.

5 physical /sweepers/(I put them in slash marks because some of these pokemon are iffy at best)
1 support

I generally recommended that you have this on a team:

1 lead
1 physical wall
1 special wall
1 sp. sweeper
1 physical sweeper
1 mixed sweeper/ support/ person that covers weaknesses

I love that you are using your favorites. (: That's very commendable in this competitive world we're in now.
Anyway, your team is too offensive [physically] based. You should throw in a good wall or two that also use Special Attacks. Suicune or Vaporeon would be good choices considering you have a huge Fire weakness, regardless of Arcanine.
