- You can sign up for either Group Tutoring or 1-to-1 Tutoring.
1-to-1 Tutoring: You will be assigned one tutor, you will have to fix a time with him for a few sessions where you can learn.
Group Tutoring: You will be a part of a bigger group of other users who wish to learn and a chat will be set up and a particular time decided when one or two tutors will come and teach the class a few times.
- Remember if we feel you will benefit more from the other option, we have the right to move you from one to the other.
- You can sign up for one tier at once. You can join the program again for another metagame.
How will the program go about?
A tutee can sign up to be tutored in the sign up thread that will be posted. They will be assigned a tutor and he/she will teach the user about the metagame they sign up for. This will be through a chat client that the user and tutor have to decide. The tutor will teach them all about the metagame in regards to basic and advanced teambuilding, prediction, battle mechanics, synergy, specific teams and strategies related to that. This will give the user a complete understanding of it and will learn how to play it. Be sure to have a copy of Pokémon Online
so that tutor can show you through PO and live demonstrations how to go about playing the metagame.
About a tutor:
A tutor will be required to teach a user through chat- AIM/IRC how to play competitive Pokémon. For this you yourself must have sufficient knowledge of how to play it. You will be required to teach the student about every aspect of that particular metagame such as basic and advanced teambuilding, prediction, battle mechanics, synergy, specific teams and strategies related to that. Different styles of play. You will be required to tutor your student either until the round ends or until the user has learnt everything he possibly can and is satisfied as to how much he has learnt. Aside from that Good luck!
Good Luck and feel free to post any questions in the Simple Questions Simple Answers thread.
