Holy wow. I live right next to the Oakridge mall and I didn't even know of this event.

This explains why some friends have a wondertomb. He claimed it was legit.

Looks like Im gonna need a Porygon 2 with trace. :p

its pathetic that some people will go this far to distribute a hacked mon and of all places one of the best places to get a real mon..
Im glad you brought this up ... I'll be on the look out this weekend to see if any one is passing those out..
I myself plan to redistribute a few of my own LEGIT events to some lucky trainers ...

Some people would stoop so low as to do this?!

A Spiritomb with Wonder Guard - the unstoppable Pokémon... huh.

Actually not entirely unstoppable, Rampardos with Mold Breaker can beat it easily.I still don't know why the heck someone would distribute a hacked pokemon anyway.

I heard that Fire Fang can beat though WonderTomb. Not sure if that was fixed but it was possible to attack it with Fire Fang a few years back.

Still sucks that people were able to do such a thing at an official event.

Fire Fang could hit Wondertomb in the 4th Gen, but that was removed in the 5th Gen.

I actually want one of those Spiritomb. Just because.

xD I find it funny that they gave it Soft Boiled. Since clearly an invincible pokémon needs to be healed at some point. xD

...and Shadow Force. lol

I didn't see or hear anything about it while I was in San Jose for the event on Sunday, and I downloaded the Celebi, but didn't get any notification about there being another event nearby or anything... I kind of have to wonder how it was managed, and even if it is hacked, it would be kind of cool to have, just to say I got it(I don't competitive battle anyway, and I can't stand hacked pokemon otherwise).

Lets go over the list that are the most effective shall we?

1) Scrappy Kangaskhan 2HKOs with Hammer Arm. And Wondertomb can't do anything against it.
2) Toxic Stall but that Softboiled will get annoying unless you have Heal Block. Though it shouldn't be a problem after a while. Giratina is great with this as it also has Shadow Force and Pressure to drain the PP of Wondertomb's Shadow Force and since it's faster, it will avoid damage from Wondertomb's attacks and it also has Heal Block.
3) Mold Breaker users negate Wonder Guard. Especially Rampardos.
4) Gengar can Hypnosis, Nightmare and Curse it to death. But has to hit Hypnosis before it uses Safeguard. Darkrai can do a similar thing with Dark Void, Nightmare and Bad Dreams ability.
5) Suicide but Destiny Bond works too.
6) In Gen 5, Submersion makes it a Water Type so it gains Electric and Grass Weaknesses. So you can follow it up with Hidden Power or in Octillery's case: Energy Ball.

There's others but those are the ones I can remember right now.

Thanks to you we have now accuired ways to crush the joy of the people that thought: "OMG! I liek haz a jezus Spiritomb! Nothing can evur stops me!" And then we're all like: "Yeah. I'll stop you."

Although, I did notice one flaw with #2, Do we know the EVs or IVs of this Spiritomb? The hackers could've maxed all the EVs and IVs. That would make it faster, and stronger. And a MAAAAJOR problem.

Except Spiritomb has a base speed of 35. Even with maxed out IVs and EVs, the highest its speed can go is 185. Still out-sped by most of the metagame. That and it's Attack only goes up to 311 (maxed), which is decent, but it wouldn't be too hard to wall it especially if it's relying on Shadow Force/Focus Punch, which makes it screwed over by anything with Protect/Detect/type resistance.

[HP/ATK/DEF/SpA/SpD/SPE]
IVs [14/18/8/8/20/25]
EVs [85/85/85/85/85/85]

It's just a simple edit of the publicaly available Hoshi Spiritomb. Hilarious, actually. Better than the racist gengar anyway.

Also, you're all misinformed. It's obvious that they're giving out Sableye.
