Default Creative Pokemon Set of the Week {CPSW} [1] - Jirachi

Welcome one and all, to the Creative Pokemon Set of the Week! We have a lot of creative minds going on here that we need to expand upon. What better way than to allow you all to create custom sets on Pokemon here?

Definition
Creative Pokemon Set of the Week - A thread where a Pokemon is stated at the beginning of the week and everyone has the chance to put up a creative set of their own for it. The duration of each Pokemon will be six days:

Sunday - Friday
  • Members post up a set for the Pokemon. It must contain EVs, IVs if necessary, nature, ability, nickname for the set, item, moveset, and description of the set
  • Edits can be made until 12am EST
Example:

Code:
[Pokemon] @ [Item]
[Nature]
[Ability]
[EVs: HP/ATK/DEF/SPAtk/SPDef/SPE]
[IVs] (OPTIONAL)
[Moves:
-
-
-
-]

[Description of the set. Explain the pros it has, some advice, and some Pokemon to look out for when using this set. Try providing damage calculations of some of its moves it deals out to other Pokemon or how well it defends against attacks from other Pokemon]
Saturday
  • Voting Day: Members will cast a vote in the voting thread that will be created at the end of each weekly session with which of the creative sets they found best. They must explain why they thought so as well or the vote will not count
  • Not accepting votes after 12am EST

Example:
Code:
"I choose [member's username] because his set [explain what/how it has worked out for you in battle]."

*The rule where a Pokemon is stated at the beginning of each week will last for the first two weeks. After that, things will switch up and become more creative.

Thank ye for choosing Jirachi first :D

Cosmic Jirachi
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Bold
Serene Grace
252 HP, 152 Def, 100 Special Def
-Cosmic Power
-Wish
-Charge Beam
-Flash Cannon

A force to be reckoned with, honestly. If this thing is allowed to set up, there little to stop it besides a well placed critical hit. The only huge problems it has are STAB super effective moves. but the strategy is Cosmic Power to no end, with wish to keep your HP up. Charge Beam to boost Special Attack whenever it hits. And eventually, you'll be firing away a STAB Flash Cannon at +6! You dont have to worry much about status as this Jirachi is immune to toxic, shrugs off burn, and doesn't care about the speed drop from paralysis. Jirachi can be a team player before it's time to shine by spreading Wish too.

EVs are just for bulk, but they don't offer anything too specific. Bold because most ground/fire things hit on the defensive side. Usually this set can take a few hits from any pokemon, but it is really important to set up the opponents team for a clear sweep.

What to watch out for? Phazers and super effective STAB. You'd hopefully have not switched Jirachi in on a super effective move, so you'll have one Cosmic Mind up, at the very least. However, this is a virtually nonexistent set in the metagame, so they may switch to an inappropriate counter, or not know how to counter it at all! Just beware things like Heatran, Infernape, and strong Earthquake users. Phazers are phazers, against boosting sweepers. Luckily, the most popular one, Skarmory, can' switch in safely. But things like Hippowdon present problems. Also, ground types that resist Charge Beam don't let you boost to the point where you can kill them. Therefore, with this Jirachi, it is important to scout and pack a STAB Water-type to clear out Fire and Ground-Types. Something with Roar works as a scouter. Suicune and Vaporeon both fit these roles well. Hippowdon can be used if you enjoy sandstorm support. This Jirachi really needs a team built around it.

Anyways, great idea, I hope a lot of people participate!
