(Let’s just say this happens before your last post)

Things in Hoenn had become complicated, but I knew it was nothing we couldn’t handle. It was simply Lance Gerard requesting to be slowly and painfully burned at the stake rather than swiftly and painlessly executed. Of course, I wasn’t someone who would deny a bastard like him the right to suffer.

Blizzard had soon approached me, looking captivated at my new, evolved form.

“Sir, I've...My, My, impressive form,” He told me, realizing I had changed significantly.

“Yes, I’ve taken a liking to it,” I told him with a sinister grin, assuring him that while I had become larger, more powerful, and definitely didn’t look human at all anymore, I hadn’t gone completely feral and bestial like the form might have suggested. “Now, what can I do for you, Blizzard?”

“Sir, I've got the status you’re probably wanting to hear,” He told me as he updated me on the status report. “First off, we've launched assault at the Battle Zone in Sinnoh, which has already succeeded to capture the Fight Zone. Second off, we've got two operations-Operation Deep Blue, which is to expand in Hoenn by diplomatically obtaining the few neutral cities in Hoenn, which are seabound, and Operation Synthetic Defense, which is to align Oblivia with our side by agreeing to build a Synth Dome around their plant. Both should provide us with the necessary Naval Power Nox currently lacks.”

Yes, I knew naval power had been one of the issues that had been facing us with the current war. Our ground forces and armored divisions excelled with superiority, but it was the naval warfare that needed to be addressed.

“And Oblivia isn't likely to turn on us after such a deed as to keep it free from Synth Gas, unlike Hoenn..." Blizzard continued. “Both Operations have begun, our Diplomats already getting the neutral cities of Sootopolis and Evergrande, and trying to get a permit to build the Synth Dome in Oblivia. Sir, I will give the NWO, via email, an extra hour, but that's all I can do.”

“I wouldn’t bother,” I told him, knowing an extra hour wouldn’t change anything. “I changed my mind, you were right from the start. I had the displeasure of dealing with the NWO personally, and I know they’re not the kind of people to negotiate or even reason with. If the operations are already underway, then proceed as planned and adhere to the original deadline. There’s no reason to give them any leverage.”

I knew we would reclaim Hoenn, and the people who betrayed us would regret it, paying for their insolence with their lives. We had provided for them out of kindness, and it was clear they much rather preferred to be dominated by fear judging by their recent actions. And their choice to follow Lance Gerard and his Cataclysm regime was a spit in the face, knowing they were our worst enemies. However, I smiled and knew it was more of an incentive to grow stronger. Living well was the greatest revenge, and our victory would be their bane.

Meanwhile, there was still the issue of the technology they stole. It was a loss, but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t deal with. Just because they had stolen our weaponry and vehicles didn’t mean they were now stronger than us. In truth, we were more proficient and more trained in using them than they were, and with them using our weaponry, we already knew what our own weapons were capable of and we could prepare accordingly to counteract them. Meanwhile, the rogue weapons and vehicles that were stolen were disconnected from our communication networks, and would be recognized as enemy ordinance. While it would have been better if they were never stolen in the first place, there were approaches that could easily remedy the situation. The idea of Lance Gerard suddenly getting cocky only to be woefully disappointed pleased me.

Still, the situation in Hoenn still called for tactical measures as I wanted our assets and factories back without destroying them. Hoenn was useless to us if it was nothing more than smoldering ruins.

“I still need those assets intact,” I reminded Blizzard. “The tanks and other technologies that the NWO stole can be destroyed, but we need the factories, military bases, and utility assets still functional as much as possible. Knowing Lance Gerard, he may start destroying his own assets just to ensure we don’t get them. We need to prevent that from happening. Since he seems to like bombing things, I recommend we highly increase our anti-air ordinance, and get additional attack planes to strike his own aerial forces down.”

Meanwhile, we needed to address the issues of new technology as well, things that Lance Gerard wouldn’t know about until it was too late…

Lance Gerard (Human)
Cataclysm (Supported By NWO and Kanto)
Pokemon League, Sinnoh
Affected RPers: Latio-Reol, Neo Pikachu, Lusankya, RocketMeowth

"Echo 1 is inbound for Orre, Echo 1 is inbound.", came a voice over a phone, before the caller disconnected. Lance had received the call a few minutes before he had finished leaving a message for "The Maid", who was currently away from her office. The message had been simple and to the point.

"Cataclysm would like to hire Beta Green mercenaries. Call me back when you are available", Lance had stated simply, hanging up the phone. He was going to go and look at some statistics, going to look at the current situation and size it up, but before he could do so the phone rang again. He had picked it up, and the words immediately reached his ears.

"Echo 1 is inbound...", Lance repeated. He breathed a deep sigh, one of mixed grief and relief. Finally, the arrow of Paris would strike at the heel of Achilles, a silent and deadly projectile guided by the god Apollo. The demigod of the Nox nation would fall.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It had been a dark and clear night when the planes had taken off. The pilots of the bomber S.P.A.R.T.A. had stepped into the cockpits of the planes to carry out the mission that would change the very course of history. It was to be the first bombing run to be carried out by the newly formed N.W.O., which was only the second nation to ever challenge the Nox military, at the moment the strongest in the world. The first nation had been brutally and utterly destroyed during the war. The N.W.O. could not make the same fatal mistake.

The S.P.A.R.T.A. the N.W.O. would be using were gifts from Cataclysm, planes that had been used as air support for the Hoenn Rebellion. They would be escorted by the newly obtained Vertigo, whose systems had been reverse engineered for N.W.O. use.

As the engines roared and the S.P.A.R.T.A. lifted off, pilots said their prayers, and over radio communications, their goodbyes. Many knew they would not be coming home to Hoenn, but they knew that the action they took today would help to bring about a better future for their children.

So they flew. They boldly took off into the starry night sky, headed north to fate unknown. They would be dropping I.S. and explosives over Phenac City and Gateon Port tonight, in order to weaken Nox for the ground surge to come from the east. Already recon teams had begun out into the desert from Kanto, preparing for the massive land invasion by scouting out potential routes through the barren deserts of eastern Orre to the populated western Orre. The stepped across the dunes on alert, leaving no tracks, no trail. They were ghosts, wandering the desert in silence.

For a single moment, all was silent. The constant chatter of news reporters, the hum of cars and buses stuck in gridlock traffic, even the cries of children were non-existant. All eyes were looking to the sky, waiting for the moment everything would change...

Ruzza - Zoroark/Ninetales Chimera (lesser) - Illusion
Soloman - Meowth/Charizard Chimera (lesser) - Blaze
Team Nox
Gateon Port, Orre
Affected RPers: N/A

The work on Ruzza's arm was going well. Even the attachments were very close to completion. Not only was Froth working on them, but so was Record, Solomna, and one of the mechanics from the shop itself. With so much help, she'd be back in the field in no time flat.

Meanwhile, Edward, Napster, and Bootleg were busy training themselves outside. They had the rest of the flash cards Ruzza had made for them, and were practicing quick transformation. They were also focusing on the abilities of each Pokemon, using them as best they could so as to get ready in case that form was taken.

Bootleg was doing fine so far, but Napster was having to play keep up. The very process of quick transformation was something that could take a lot out of a Ditto. They'd have to stretch their bodies in many different ways causing stress to the muscles. His brother had been learning very easily how to overcome this stress, but he was having problems getting past it.

"You can do it. Remember, in war, you'll be needed to be perfect!" said Edward. She didn't like the idea of war, but the more she stayed with these guys the more this blue mew understood just how necessary it was to survive.

"I can't get this!" Napster complained after the sixth quick change. His body was so tired from all the working that he could barely revert to his original form. His brother reverted and went up to him, patting him on his back.

"Calm down little bro," he said. He rarely called Napster "little bro". Napster was sometimes sensitive about being called a little brother, especially since he was the same size as Bootleg. He felt it was demeaning. The only times he liked it was when he was struggling or stressed. "You gotta just try and focus on something other than your body being tired. It will help you." Napster nodded at what his brother said and they continued their training.

I realize now that giving up Jubilife City was a horrible mistake. First, it had caused my title of second-in-command to be stripped of me. I wasn’t allowed to partake in any meetings for Cataclysm or even fight for it. I suppose I’m lucky that I wasn’t branded a traitor. Then we learned more about Shadowfox... Regardless, I had found a way to redeem myself. The solution to the Synth problem seemed to complicated, until I sat down and decided to research more about the Sinnoh Region. The solution to all our problems became clear then. Now all I needed to do was get the information that I acquired to Lance, and fast.

Just days ago I would have been cursing Lance’s name, blaming his baseless accusations for bringing us into a war that not many of our people really wanted to fight. I was even on the verge of usurping the whole faction from him. Then I learned he was right, and felt like the biggest fool for buying into Shadowfox’s act.

The door leading to Lance was, unsurprisingly, locked. I knocked lightly on the door three times to try to get Lance’s attention. Of corse, what is knocking lightly to me would be pounding on a door to others, but regardless I knocked on the door three times. “Yo, Lance! I think I have a solution to the Synth issue!” Formalities are certainly not my strong point.

Essie Tandelle –Weavile hybrid (pressure)
The Cullen
outside Sazanami Town, Isshu
Affected RPers: Neo Pikachu, NES2

Flying in over the bay, Essie made another pass over the section of shore she had chosen to land on. It was near a level area beyond the beach that could be cleared of the sparse vegetation for a short take-off later. Having a flat area to make a rolling take-off would mean less wear and energy for the Turbo than going vertical. The humans in the team already had their gear on against the gas hanging over the region. Satisfied that the area was level enough, she took the tiltwing around for a final approach. The nacelles on each wingtip began turning the proprotors back to make the vertical landing. It took only a matter of seconds and the Weavile hybrid was lowering the aircraft to the ground. There was a slight creak as the weight was settled on the wheels.

Shutting down the engines, Essie turned to the team behind her with a chipper smile. “Alright, thank you for flying Air Tandelle. We have reached our final destination and it is now safe to move about the cabin. We hope that you will consider flying with Air Tandelle for your next trip. Please have a pleasant stay in Sazanami Town.”

“Ha ha ha, very funny,” said a Manectric-Fearow chimera sarcastically.

Lottie gave the other chimera a light punch in the arm. “Oh, you’re always so sour, Kale.”

“Ok, so it’s time to get serious huh?” Essie started for the rear of the Turbo. She turned around to face everyone gathering their gear. “Alright then, Miles,” she said looking at the Turbo’s original pilot. “You and your crew need to get this bird set to fly again. I don’t know how long we’ll be here or when we’ll be called to leave, but I want to be ready. Make sure to clear the scrub from the area we chose for takeoff. I’m leaving...Orin and Otto to help, and Zara. That okay guys?”

Orin and Otto were brothers who had become Lairon-Feraligatr and Lairon-Salamence chimeras respectively. Zara was a lovely, no-nonsense woman with dark hair and glasses who was well-known for her intimidating gaze. She was just promoted to Gamma and for someone as stern as her, she got along fairly well with Essie. All three nodded at the Weavile hybrid. The brothers were both large, imposing members who would be able to help the Turbo’s crew with anything that came up and Zara would keep everyone in line. That would leave thirteen members to go with Essie. The five non-hybrid humans were geared up with extra masks and filters as well as small oxygen tanks should they run into trouble with the gas. Anything else that needed carried was split between the team. Many of them carried small sidearms, some of the humans had a little stronger firepower. The region was having trouble with civil fighting after all.

Essie pulled out a pokeball and released Byte. The Rotom buzzed happily. “Alright, I promised some free time. Just stay close and no pranks or it’s back in the pokeball, got it?” The little Pokemon nodded before shooting off like a bolt. While they walked toward Sazanami Town, a red form would dart in front of them as Byte explored the area.

They had not gone far when a call came in on Essie’s PDA. “Gamma Tandelle? This is Portia Thrice from the Oblivia Ranger Dispatch.

Essie looked over at Tyler who looked surprised. “Yes, this is Essie Tandelle. What can I do for ya, Portia?”

I’m sorry, I did not get the chance to thank you before. I kind of panicked when I heard that news about the plant. We were worried ourselves that it would reach our region. So things kinda went crazy here after I hung up with you.

“Oh, don’t worry about that,” she said, smiling. “I wanted make sure you were warned, and I warned you. So...did it reach your region?”

Yes.” There was a slight groan from some of the team upon hearing the news, but Portia kept going. “Fortunately, it only just reached our southwest shore. The gas has not traveled far inland, so we were able to move everyone who would be affected far enough that there would be no worry. Again, we want to thank you for your warning. The Director is very grateful as well.

“Don’t even mention it. What will come of this world if people aren’t willing to help one another?”

I’d hate to think of that.” After thanking her again, Portia ended the call and Essie saved the number for the Oblivia Ranger Dispatch in case she needed it later.

‘Well, I take it back,’ said Shard.

Essie looked down at the Weavile beside her. “Take what back?”

‘What I thought before. That she was ungrateful.’

Chuckling at the smile on his face, Essie was about to reply when her PDA beeped again.

“Boy, you’re popular,” Bradley said as he walked ahead.

Once again, her reply was interrupted, this time by the caller. “Gamma Tandelle! Have you heard what’s happening?” It was Jordan, the Noctowl hybrid from Seven Island. “We can’t get in touch with any of the Betas, they’re all busy and we don’t know what’s being done...!

Essie shook her head at the nervous Epsilon’s excitement. “Well, I can’t tell you what I think till you tell me what’s going on, can I?”

Nox has almost taken all of Sinnoh! There was a plane crash in the Whirl Islands! But that’s not even the big news! Hoenn has revolted against Nox’s assistance and this group called the New World Order is in charge and saying all this stuff about Nox being terrorists! Cataclysm is joining in on that, Nox is saying that Cataclysm is the problem! And then Kanto is supporting the NWO and Representative Darren is lumping us together against Nox and I don’t know what’s really-

“Okay, stop!” Essie interrupted and chuckled. “You’re going too fast for one thing, I can’t process everything you just said in one breath. Send the information to me so I can take a look.” No sooner had she asked than her PDA began receiving links to files and news reports. She halted in her tracks, stopping the rest of the team with a wave. “This is too much to read on here. Maddie, pull out your laptop.”

A chimera with pale skin, green hair and brown-tipped ears crouched down, pulling her pack off. The Kirlia-Pikachu brought out a heavy-duty laptop, made by the Cullen for travel in the field. Essie synced her PDA to it and Maddie started to open the links. Several people gathered around to hear the news reports and none of them were happy with what they heard. Essie had to try to restore peace with everyone.

“Okay, okay! Everyone just calm down a second. Especially you, Jordan.”

Yes, ma’am,” he said quietly.

“First of all, the base in the Whirl Islands is already sending a team to Pudgy Pidgey Island to check out the plane crash, so there’s no need for us to worry about that unless someone was trying to attack...which obviously wasn’t very successful if they crashed. Second, we cannot stop Nox and Cataclysm from mud-slinging at each other. Third, Hoenn has a right to take back their region, I suppose even if it had not really been lost in the first place.” She shook her head. “As far as I knew, Nox went there offering assistance that Hoenn accepted. Who knows if there was anything going on that would make Hoenn think they needed to get rid of Nox.” She thought for a moment. “Jordan, for now, keep an eye on what’s happening and send me reports until you can get in touch with another Beta. I’ll be able to pass things on to Zara when she contacts me again.”

I’ll stay on it, ma’am.

Ending the call with him, Essie rocked back on her heels thinking. Shard caught the look on her face, quickly comprehending what she was thinking, as he always did.

‘You’ll get in trouble.’

She grinned in response. “When don’t I get in trouble?”

“Hold up,” said Tyler. “What are you getting in trouble for this time?”

“I’m sending a message to the leaders.”

Lottie shook her head. “But the Alpha has been dealing with stuff while he’s working on the Subway Cities. There’s only a few people able to get in touch with him right now.”

“Not our leader. The other leaders.”

Most present immediately disapproved of this idea. Tyler was ready to strangle his former apprentice. “It’s not our place to contact the other regions! We don’t know what the rest of the Cullen is willing to do about this. Not to mention I think it’s a bad idea!”

The irrepressible hybrid smiled. “Good. Cause I’m not asking you to do it. And if the majority of the Cullen disagrees with what I say -which I doubt- then my superiors can simply say that it was a single Gamma acting out of rank without order –which I am- and make their own statements to the other regions. If that happens, I’ll deal with the consequences. No ifs, ands, or buts. I’m just tired of hearing where other people think our stand is.” While there were several more complaints, Essie was already typing on the laptop that Maddie had sitting on top of her pack.

Gamma Essie Tandelle, Cullen.................................................. ..
To the leaders of Cataclysm, Kanto, Nox, and the NWO

I’d like to make a clear stand about the current situation on behalf of the Cullen. Our team has not made any move to participate in this war because we feel it would be a waste of time, material, and man-power that can be put to better use in this crisis. We haven’t made any allegiances with Nox or Cataclysm to this point simply because we knew little about both teams. We have yet to make an allegiance with either side because we do not agree with some of the tactics used so far. Nothing we’ve seen can lead us to assume that Nox is an organization of terrorists. However, we do not know what led the NWO to force Nox out of Hoenn after accepting their help. We do not approve of the massive battles fought to take control of Sinnoh, or the use of chemicals in one of those battles.

The Cullen was happy to offer refuge to as many people as we were able before being blocked out of Sinnoh. Our current concern is finding a way to remove the threat of Synth from all the regions. That has been our focus while you fight over who controls what. We were unable to prevent the spread of Synth in the Sevii Islands before their facility reached meltdown, but we worked with them to prepare alternate energy and shelter in time. I personally have been spending time with the leaders of the Islands and we all feel that cooperation is the best course to beat the crisis. I can only assume what kind of progress could have been made with all that has gone into fighting. Still, what’s done is done. I will say this. We are watching. If any organization attacks Johto or the Sevii Islands, we will stand up to defend. Any team that makes a move to forcefully take over any other regions will force us to step in. This cannot continue when there is a much bigger problem we’re facing. And we will not sit on the side and watch more homes of innocent people be destroyed so others can claim what remains.

Bradley was looking over Essie’s shoulder at what was on the screen. “Wow, you’re a lot less cheeky when you write.” He grunted as an elbow jabbed him lightly in the stomach.

“Watch it or I’ll let it all out on you,” she said snickering.

Maddie sent the message out to each of the leading factions then closed up her computer and pack. The rest of the team, some of which had sat down while Essie typed her message, started picking gear up to move on. They didn’t make it far though, a few steps and the way was blocked by two hybrids carrying heavy rifles. They had walked right into Isshu’s trouble.

“Don’t even think of touching those guns! We don’t need any humans or their sympathizers up here to pick any more fights.”

A quick glance left and right and Essie caught sight of about six more hybrids and chimeras, all with firearms of their own. She also noticed that Shard had seemingly disappeared. With a heavy sigh and a smile, she held her arms out to the side. “And here I thought the day started so well.”

We had increased production of the ground ordinance while Blizzard went ahead with his operations. However, I had been informed that he had undergone the evolution process as well, which I looked fondly at. The whole operation had granted me a tremendous source of power, and I was looking forward to more Hybrids and Chimeras taking advantage of this unique opportunity.

There had been many that had asked me if the process had changed me mentally, which I found humorous all the time. In truth, I had looked at my reflection, and I could see where it was difficult to imagine this hulking wolf and fox like form was commanded with a human mind, but it was true and despite the ferocious look and overwhelming power I now had, I still retained my rationale and mentality. However, I could imagine that Cataclysm and the New World Order would start believing the FEC Accelerator was turning Chimeras into feral beasts. It would be like their media to start spreading lies like that without even knowing anything about the undertaking to begin with.

In the meantime, I had gotten a message, surprisingly from a Cullen representative. It was definitely not what I had expected either.

Knowing the Cullen wanted nothing to do with the NWO granted us a massive amount of leverage, meaning Johto wasn’t going to come rushing to Cataclysm’s aid regardless of how much we destroyed them. They literally said all they would do was watch, which was perfectly fine by me. As far as the fighting went, that was life, and one of these days this Essie Tandelle was going to realize that on her own or by the hard way. At this point, the crisis was trivial. Countless numbers of people were making the move to become Hybrids and Chimeras as the living conditions in the Subway Cities were only getting worse and more intolerable. As for the Cullen wanting to protect civilians, that was fine. To me, I was completely indifferent to them, though people that remained in war zones were off the scale when it came to stupidity.

Meanwhile, the TNN Black Punisher was being created as a battleship and aircraft carrier hybrid vessel, which would help when it came to the strike against Hoenn. Even though it wouldn’t help too much with the assault on the mainland, it would be massively helpful when it came to destroyed Hoenn’s other ships, and only of the vessels that Kanto decided to send toward us.

Things were moving quickly, and it was all a matter of time to see whether Cataclysm and the NWO could effectively keep up the pace. And this time, Cullen wasn’t going to be there to protect them like they originally thought they would.

It was good news for us, and bad news for them…

As Lance read a transcript of the following message from the Cullen, he pondered what could lead to this statement of neutrality by one of Cullen's members. Though the war was now expanding to other regions of the Earth, it was pretty well known that Cullen was a neutral power only concerned with matters in it's home region, Johto. A semi-threat, the message reeked of insecurity and paranoia. Nobody, not even Nox, was likely to instigate a war with the faction in the first place, making the message seem utterly pointless.

But the letter had revealed one crucial fact... Cullen was not coming to Cataclysm's aid. For the longest time Lance had been waiting for a response from Cullen's ambassadors, waiting for them to take a stand on who they would support. Even when presented with damning evidence that Nox had set off a bomb INSIDE Cullen territory, the power had refused to take any action.

With the message Lance scratched out Cullen as a potential ally. He had been waiting long enough for Cullen to end it's neutrality in order to take out what was now known as a terrorist organization, but this message ended any hope for such an event. Crumpling up the paper as he finished reading it, he tossed it into a waste basket, the ever frequent ringing of a phone came from the top-right corner of Lance's desk. Picking the phone up and putting the plastic to his ears, the voice of his advisor came over the phone.

"Lance, I have bad news. We have some reports coming in that Nox is diplomatically dealing with Sootopolis, Mossdeep, and Oblivia. We can't get many details on the matter, but we can guarantee that whatever agreements will be made will hurt Cataclysm and it's allies. I recommended you take action", his advisor explained, hanging up after he finished his last sentence.

While Sootopolis and Mossdeep were cities that could be somewhat ignored as the presence of the N.W.O. was pretty strong in the area, an Oblivia supporting the Nox faction would hurt Cataclysm's chance's of reclaiming Sinnoh deeply, allowing for constant aerial and naval bombardments. It's close proximity to Sinnoh and abundance of natural resources meant it was a region who could not fall into enemy hands. Lance had to act right away.

Within minutes Lance had written up an address stating the actions that would be taken against those who allied with Nox. He had wanted to avoid fear tactics by all means, but the situation called for such language. The message itself was brief, but it was a message that would not be taken as a joke. Lance could not let Nox expand, even if it meant taking a military course of action.

To All World Leaders,
It has come to the attention of Cataclysm and it's allies that various nations have engaged in diplomacy with the Nox organization. Let it be known that Nox is a known and documented terrorist organization and is to be treated as such. Furthermore, we will not sit by idly while others pledge their allegiance to this vile group.

Let it be known that the combined powers of Kanto, NWO, and Cataclysm will not approve of any dealings, agreements, or treaties of any nature with Nox. Any nation that aligns themselves with this power will be deemed a part of the terrorist organization and punished for their actions by any means necessary. However, any nation that remains neutral will not be subject to such punishment, but is instead invited to join Cataclysm and it's allies in the liberation of Sinnoh and the destruction of this warmongering nation.

-Lance Gerard

Lance finished the message and pressed post straight away, making Cataclysm's policy known. He knew more than likely Mossdeep and Sootopolis would back off with the N.W.O. so close, but he still worried about Oblivia's response. Only time could tell what would happen.

Then, knocking at the door.

“Yo, Lance! I think I have a solution to the Synth issue!”, came a familiar voice. It was that of Lance's former second-in-command, Kage. After the surrender of Jubilife, he had fallen from his position as Lance's right hand man to become a minor officer. He was considered a traitor by many, but Lance had let him stay with Cataclysm on the off-chance that he may redeem himself.

Today Lance had a feeling he would do so.

Unlocking the door to Lance's office in the Pokemon League building, Lance allowed Kage inside, interested in the idea he had come up with.

"Kage, welcome back. What is it that you want?", Lance asked, beginning the conversation.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Lance met with Kage in Sinnoh, the bombing was about to begin in Orre. The fleet of S.P.A.R.T.A. and Vertigos, having flown over the ocean in the night, was now over the ocean just outside Gateon Port. Sirens sounded across the city as Nox soldiers rolled A.A. guns out of the armory and citizens scrambled to get to bomb shelters dug underneath the port city.

"Echo Squad 1 reporting in. We have a clear view of the port and are ready for action. Targets are the docked fleet and major highways in and out of the city. Prepare to drop the payload in T-minus 15 minutes", the squad leader reported as he led the bomber fleet towards the city. Vertigoes covered the S.P.A.R.T.A. flank, ready to defend the mostly impenetrable S.P.A.R.T.A. It was morning now, the A.A. gunners down below listening to the sound of enemy engines, waiting for the planes to come within shooting distance. In 15 minutes, Gateon would be burning.

Affected RPers: Nox, Catalcysm

Blizzard managed to get a message from Oblivia, stating that the progress of the Synth Dome was faster than anticipated...And that they were allowing transports of supplies and soldiers to Nox forces.

Also, they were apparently handed a message, saying basically the obvious, save the fact that Cataclysm defined Nox as terrorists, but they disregarded it, saying that in every neutral nation, Cataclysm are still nothing short of idiots, and that in a worldwide poll amoung the regions, it was easy enough to tell that Nox were much more popular. The general opinion was that although Nox is rather bloodthirsty, they are truthfull, honest and much better combat and political leaders than the Catalcysm ever would...And that was, minus the bloodthirsty part, the general image Nox was trying to instill. They also said that nobody replied, and nobody gave their request to join a thought, thinking Cataclysm as needy for the resources that they'd use for more death, destruction, and demise. The best part was at the end-the report said that this proved Cataclysm a liar in every respect, seeing as Terrorists wouldn't diplomatically attempt to rally Oblivia, nor build a Synth Dome to help with Oblivia's Synth Plant. Reports from the thickly-Nox Mossdeep City said that they, along with Sootopolis, received the same letter. Neither changed side, as they both wound up in Nox servers, as well as Evergrande, which didn't receive the Email, oddly enough.

Lance thought that Catalcysm's influence stretched outside of Hoenn...

...The fool. He was lucky to have Kanto. However...two minutes ago, the deadline was up. Death was waiting, and now he need wait no longer!

SPARTA Bombers were already inbound...And everyone was in position. There appeared to be very little as per defense...But considering that most of them had Active Cameoflauge, right down to the bullets, this assumption would be fatal.

MACS-hidden Naval forces, MACS-hidden AA Guns, MACS-hidden troopers, MACS-hidden bullets...there was four times the force visible, and the force already was enough to be called a challenge...

Gaeton was burning, it was burning with it's very soul, it's soul's longing to smite Cataclysm, kill the NWO, and destroy every last loyal follower there was. And this was just the very edges of the flame...

...

Nox'es diplomats in Hoenn were doing an excellent job of keeping NWO propaganda at bay, but now it was time to prepare for war. As with Orre, when they received the message from Cataclysm, they prepared for all-out war, giving every soul they could a Gas Mask, and keeping them safe...And the same was for Oblivia. They weren't messing around. They brought out a Naval blockade against Cataclysm, and an Arial fleet. A lot of it. Nobody threatens a nation and gets away with it...

...But it all might not be needed...

If Shadowfox gave a thumbs up to use Thor, then Nox could effortlessly bomb Cataclysm without them knowing that it was Nox at all...

...But he'd have to agree. Either him or Kotar, and Kotar should be busy in the Battle Zone. Or dead.

As Lance Gerard’s squadron of misguided, idiot pilots headed toward Gateon Port, I couldn’t help but outright laugh at the hypocrisy he seemed insistent on portraying time and time again.

-Lance Gerard

Here, he had declared Nox as terrorists and warmongers once again, but here he was sending his forces to aggressively bomb a port city that also had unprepared civilians in it, just minutes after making this international speech about us being the “bad guys.” All I had to do was remember Eternia City and Agate Village, and what Cataclysm did there. Even to a guy like me, that was cold, setting your own men on fire like that, and then bombing a retirement village with no strategic value at all. Lance Gerard and his followers were making us look like angels in comparison to what he was doing.

From what I could see, Lance Gerard had become laughably anxious, likely a result of Cullen declaring neutrality and remaining indifferent to Gerard’s pleas. It was amusing to say the least, seeing Lance Gerard scramble for support where morals and ethics had long gone out the window.

“Looks like we’ve got a whole flock of bogeys incoming,” one of the port operators told me. “Seems they’re using our Vertigoes as well, no deviations from the original design. AA fire will be suppressing them, but it’s estimated that a significant number will be able to break through the defense line, including these SPARTAs they’ve got flying around.”

“Call in the rain,” I told the troops. “Have those water Pokémon on standby, Gerard will definitely be using fire again.”

Teams of Nox troopers had released whatever water type Pokémon they had, ordering them to use their Rain Dance ability. Overhead, storm clouds had begin gathering, growing heavier and heavier until there was a sudden downpour. Rain droplets began hammering down on the port town, reducing visibility and making it extremely difficult for Cataclysm’s incendiary bombs to rapidly spread. Meanwhile, increased water Pokémon presence was a defense against the fire with their ability to extinguish whatever flames resulted from the bombs.

Meanwhile, water and rain saturated everything else in the area. As my fur was getting completely soaked over, it was a clear reminder trying to use fire myself in this fight would be worthless, but I wasn’t too concerned. From the look of things, Cataclysm was doing their routine aerial bombing run without ground or naval forces, so I was quite sure the most I would be doing during this fight would be issuing commands. I was beginning to think Lance Gerard was attempting to bore me to death, which actually might have been slightly more successful than this attack.

Targeting the aerial attackers with the Nightwolf AA ordinance would be computer guided, though it was definitely expected they would have counters to this. I wasn't fully counting on the Nightwolves to be able to handle everything, so I needed to support them with something else. Meanwhile, the Vertigo UAVs had their own weakness that Lance Gerard had likely overlooked. He was probably all too excited to have his grubby hands on our technology that he didn't realize that using them with minimal other supplemental forces was a bad idea.

The first bombs had been dropped, and a nearby bicycle store and a portside apartment building near me had gone up in flames. However, because of the pouring rain, the fire was greatly suppressed, and wasn’t spreading toward the other immediate buildings. After that, the Cataclysm UAVs opened fire, attempting to attack our ground forces. Another few buildings around us had a few more holes torn into them, but I knew the damage was nothing more than an architectural flesh wound. Meanwhile, we suffered a few losses and some Nightwolf AAs were destroyed, but clearly all the unnecessary defenses were still packed away. Since this was only an air attack, we simply relied on AA tactics, which were far easier and simpler to manage without interference from other enemy ground and naval forces. It was like Lance insisted on playing rock, paper, scissors with scissors again and again and again, and here were the rock just pounding him again time after time.

“Typically I like things hot, but I’m willing to settle for the opposite side of the spectrum,” I spoke into the radio. “Let’s bring winter in a little early this year, why don’t we?”

At that order, the defensive line ordered their Pokémon to use any ice-based attack they could, targeting the Vertigo UAVs with Blizzards, Ice Beams, Frozen Worlds, and the like. The rain had made the Vertigoes wet, and the ice that now showered them allowed the ice to freeze and easily stick onto the wet Vertigoes themselves. In the beginning, it was only a trivial matter, but the excess weight was suddenly more than the Vertigo UAVs could handle as the ice accumulated and sticking more and more onto the wet and now freezing surfaces. Because the UAVs were designed to be fast and lightweight fighters, this completely counteracted their design. Meanwhile, critical thrust systems and turbine engines were being frozen over and suddenly locked.

It wasn’t long until several completely frozen Vertigo UAVs plummeted from the skies and crashed to the ground, either from the heavy weight or by the turbine engines being frozen and stopped. Even though a crashing UAV was still a concern due to the nature of it falling and exploding, they were far less of a problem than they were active. Meanwhile, additional ice and weight was being put onto the SPARTA bombers, and I was sure their visibility of the port was absolutely atrocious now, if they could even see past their ice-splattered visors.

A few of them had dropped bombs on the blind, trying to go for random areas of Gateon Port rather than specific targets that they could no longer see. Meanwhile, I had gotten an ordinance request from Blizzard himself, who seemed eager to cause a diversion while Lance Gerard was attempting to attack us again.

“Go ahead and use the Thor, Blizzard,” I told him on the radio with a dark smile. “Don’t worry, I’ve have this little mess cleaned up soon enough. Lance Gerard insists on prolonging his playtime, and I need to give him the beating of a red-handed stepchild.”

After calling that in, I watched as the Nightwolf AA tanks continued to fire upon Cataclysm’s SPARTA bombers. Meanwhile, fires were erupting in Gateon Port, but we had suppressed them greatly using water Pokémon that didn’t fear the fire either.

For Lance Gerard, I was sure this would be a nice learning experience for him.

The Maid
Cinnawood Island Mountains Range, Johto
Affected RPers: Latio-Reol

The Maid sighed as she was being treated. Sweat was running down her face as she had just returned from the gym. She was slowly trying to adjust to her new powers. Her sleuth and was the same and she found out that she now had the ability to turn invisible. Something very useful in the future. Her speed seem to have increase and The Maid was learning more about what she can do.

The problem was that The Maid had injured herself during a practice run. It seems like she had gotten a bit more banged up then she thought from that freak mash up back in Sinnoh. It made no difference since right now there were some things to take care of. Eventually The Maid left the medical bay and walked back to an office.

Seems like a few things had pile up while she was gone and at once she looked at what was going on.

"Hmm...HappyBomb is something very interesting," said The Maid as she nodded and saw the range of the project. It had allow her to see that somebody had tried to invade the Delta Green servers and was trying to find them. HappyBomb had now allow them to control basically every server within Johto without being detected and basically the ultimate hacking tool with many cyberweapons at it's disposal. The best way to do hacking while defending their digital assets. If Delta Green really wanted then they could try to control everything digital but that would be too much strain. Still if it wasn't for HappyBomb then the wouldn't have been able to delete and keep those porygons from escape.

The Maid saw that whoever had tried to hack into and leave the virus had left an email. She read it and could see that she was being contacted. Just by reading it she could tell it came from Nox due to how they sounded. HappyBomb was already making sure that the permanent link that was left behind was removed and scanning to see if anything else was left. Once that was done the server was being relocated to a different location and the old one cleaned out for another task. Still The Maid guess she might as well reply back using a different email that was couldn't be track back.

Hello Sir,

We have no want to engage you and do plan to leave you to handle NWO. Currently we have no relationship with this NWO and are not interested in engaging them. Your request for a ceasefire will be respected.

As in the incident in Jubilife City with our operative, the details of the mission was unclear. All that was known about the person known as 'The Maid' was that she was sent to rescue somebody. We apologize if her eccentric behavior may look as if she was doing something of ill intend. Her main objective was to retrieve the one that you call Miss Ruzza and get her treated by a professional care taker.

Best regards to your future endeavors,

The Caretaker

Once that was done, The Maid press 'send' and allow whoever it was to read it. She then saw what other messages were left for her. The next one was a phone message sent by somebody from the organization Cataclysm. The one that was making a mess in Hoenn.

"Cataclysm would like to hire Beta Green mercenaries. Call me back when you are available"
, said the audio message.

The Maid sigh and wonder if this was really worth the trouble. She knew that they had to respond but the problem was that so far Cataclysm doesn't have a good track record. They clearly were calling her to help but right now this may be a client that would hurt more then help. Still The Maid guess it was best to do something. She at once began to type up a message that would be sent via a voice synthesizer. She then press enter and sent the message which would be heard as a man with a deep voice:

"Hello. We are interested but please provide us with details on what you wish from us." said the deep voice.

Soon a beeping sound could be heard and The Maid looked to her phone. Currently The Maid was looking at something interesting involving Operation Twilight. Apparently the project has an interesting effect. She presses a button and then said, "Yes yes!"

"The Maid," said the voice. "Please come to the tech lab. We have information concerning the item that you gave us,"

"OH GOODIE! Candy!" smiled The Maid as she gets up and walks out of the room.

Not too long after I knocked, Lance unlocked the door and allowed me to enter. Upon entrance, I could tell that Lance was interested in my idea, and at a time like this who wouldn’t be? “Kage, welcome back. What is it that you want?”

I smirked. “Well, when I had nothing better to do I decided to study on the legendary Pokemon of the Sinnoh region. None of them seemed easy to get and useful, except for one. A Pokemon called Shaymin. It’s a legendary with the ability to get rid of pollution. Well, something like that at least.” I shrugged. I didn’t know much about science so I couldn’t really say whether Shaymin would really be of any help or not, but Lance had many scientists working for him so it wouldn’t be a problem for him to find out.

Knowing I would probably be there longer, I walked over to the left wall from the entrance and leaned against it. Normal chairs and I don’t get along--they have a tendency of breaking on me. “So, what do you think?”

If anything, after the Ice attacks were unleashed, the crowd started to thin out severely. The fact that the damage done was trivial so far was only testimate to Nox. If this was all Gerard was capable of doing, this was sorely his worst attempt so far-

*"Sir! Infared has confirmed the existance of a Kanto strike force heading over from the east to attack our populated cities!"* The radio crackled.

There went that assumption. Nevertheless, what he was about to unleash would truly open the door for the victory...Two hits. Slateport and Lilycove were the targets, mainly because this would destroy the supplies that Kanto freshly delivered, and would open the gate for the naval forces to come in once Deep Blue was finished.

He ordered Thor launched straight away...A few seconds later, He launched one Missile at Lilycove, intending it to be the first target. After a launch, it would take one minute to impact the surface and explode. He'd launch the second one at Slateport immediatly afterwards. The result would be a opening that they'd exploit-Especially in Lilycove, where their navy was stronger and closer.

*"Thor Deployed, one minute until impact."*

After that, Blizzard got the troops that weren't being needed right then and there, and get the heck towards the flanking army. Fortunatly, there was an Air force in the deserts. Blizzard was thankful he sent it in advance, to stop the very thing from happening, before the invasion begun. It was ridiculous to think that they'd not prepare for attacks from behind...

...

The Divine Lights that caught the thermals of the Kanto soldiers were fully loaded. Anti-infantry guns ready, and the Angel's arrow at hand, they flew overhead, firing the Angel's arrow, causing massive explosions in the group. They then got their Anti-infantry guns ready, and lit them up, shooting everything that wasn't them. Hopefully, they'd get them all.

From Gaeton came the offenses that currently weren't being used. All were ready for some good ground combat, especially the officer sent there-Avalon. He was ready to start his end of the party. He cracked his knuckles-Now a impossible feat for anyone but himself, as his bones were now either cartrige or practically steel.

...

Karazin was looking at samples of the Crystals that were taken from Cataclysm during the raid on Hearthome...Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet...Karazin put them in that order, and the Crystals glowed strong...Interesting...

He looked at the hairs they found from the wreckage at Pudgy Pidgey Island...They were mostly Wigglytuff, but one, tiny, microscopic Mew hair was found in the samples...Nobody could see a Mew hair without a microscope, so Karazin exampled the samples with (duh) a microscope to check, and there it was...Impossible to keep track of, individual Mew hairs. The Mew Hybrid couldn't have even if she tried, period, case closed.

...He examined the crystals again...They were pulsading energy...He heard the sounds of war above him, but below, he was safe...He got a set up to attempt to merge the energy via the Mew Hair...But what the resuld would be, he had no idea...The perfect reason to try it out.

He flicked it on.

Instantly, the glow, left the source, as the streaks of energy, now a dancing aurora, were going upwards...Towards the mew hair...

...And when the aroura touched it, the Mew hair sucked the rest into it...A blinding light followed. Thank goodness for saftey goggles. And the radiation proof-setup he had going...He made sure that in advance, nothing bad would happen from the radiation. Or unexpected. Then again, the result was unexpected...

...The light died out, but there it was, the Mew hair, only it was still glowing bright, in the seven colors of the Rainbow...Now clearly visible.

...Whatever this would do...He was going down in the history books for it...He got his radio on.

*"Avalon, You are not going to believe this! I can't even describe it properly anymore! Just get rid of these invaders and I'll show you what I've got, OK?"* Karazin said.

*"Like I wasn't focused on getting rid of them! I was going to fight the ground troops that were attempting to flank us...Emphasis on attempt. Please tell me that nothing of this will be noticed."* Avalon responded, the sounds of gunfire and bombs more apparent from his end.

*"I've got it in someplace where energy leaks are the least of your worries! I've made sure that nothing bad would happen!"* Karazin responded. Avalon cut communications right then.

Karazin turned back to his creation...What did he do? He had no clue. He'd start running scans at once.

We had kept the wet blizzard going, continuing to bring down more and more of Cataclysm’s air force. Meanwhile, whatever wasn’t being brought down by the ice and snow was getting shot by the Nightwolf AA guns. I had to admit, these SPARTA fighters were tough, but with enough punishment, they came down as well.

Gateon Port had taken a beating, not as much of a beating as what would have happened if we hadn’t used the rain diversion, but there were still a few buildings that were badly damaged due to getting hit directly. Meanwhile, there were a few fires that were a bit more than a hassle, but the water Pokémon we had defending continued to concentrate their efforts on extinguishing those fires. In the end, Gateon Port had been damaged, but this was as far as Lance Gerard’s aerial forces were going to get.

I was wet and cold, and otherwise would have been miserable, but instead I enjoyed it, watching our stolen Vertigo UAVs plummet to the ground, crashing and tumbling into pieces as they could no longer handle the heavy ice or the bullet holes being punched into them. Lance Gerard may have won a tiny little victory by throwing Hoenn against us and outright stealing our technology and resources through Hoenn’s betrayal, but it wasn’t going to get them far, and they were still going to pay for it through extreme suffering.

Meanwhile, Blizzard had confirmed the Thor strikes on Lilycove and Slateport, targeting the harbors to destroy everything they had imported from our dear friends in Kanto. I would make sure Kanto would pay dearly for trying to support the NWO. They had picked the wrong people to make enemies with, and they would discover that the hard way. Whoever was dumb enough to side with Lance Gerard’s campaign of idiocy would burn the same way they would, I would see to that and enjoy it thoroughly.

Once these idiots were taken care of, I would call for repairs to be done on Gateon Port by the defense line while the rest of us headed into Hoenn to give the NWO a very good last lesson why it was an absolutely horrible idea to betray us. I still needed to repay them for shooting down my gunship, killing the crew, and then hooking me up to a chair like I was some kind of lab rat to be experimented on. Besides, I was absolutely itching to try out these claws, and unfortunately, there was no way to do that against these airplanes and UAVs.

“Looks like most of them are down,” one of the Nox coast guards told me. “Blizzard is right, we should continue the attack on Hoenn.”

“Absolutely,” I replied, giving that clear command to the others. “Lance Gerard may be trying to buy time through this attack, and we can’t let him have that. Most of these attackers are down, so let’s prepare the assault to move out.”

After contacting Blizzard on the radio, I knew we needed to get moving, and reclaim what was rightfully ours. The Hoenn citizens would learn to respect us out of fear, since it was clear kindness and generosity obviously didn’t work. In truth, with the kind of betrayal they had waged against us, it seemed right to turn them all into slaves, and after generations had passed and their grandchildren were still working under hard labor, maybe they would ask grandpa and grandma why they were so stupid to betray their current masters to result in such a situation.

“Blizzard, I’m convinced this attack was solely meant to buy more time,” I told him, preparing the assault on my end. “Grab your team, and head into Hoenn. I’ll take my forces into Slateport while you target Lilycove. Lance Gerard can’t be in two places at once, so he’s going to have to diverge his forces. The rest of the battalion will clean up here. The damage is rough, but nothing that can’t be fixed. However, the last thing I want is for Gerard to acquire more allies, or wait until the Cullen possibly change their minds. I want to strike fast and hard enough to the point where nothing would even matter even with the worse possible luck against us.”

Once that was declared, I made the preparations to head back to Hoenn, only this time, I was going to bring a lot more friends along. It was payback time, and I wanted Hoenn, the NWO, and Lance Gerard to suffer a hundredfold for what they did.

Default Re: [RP] TEAM RP - The Synth Crisis RP

Blizzard, Weavile+Zororak, Illusion
Team Nox
Gaeton Port, Orre, En Route to Lilycove City, Hoenn
Affected RPers: Neo Pikachu

Blizzard was given a green light to head to Hoenn, at last. Blizzard took off for the naval forces that were hidden in MACS. His MACS Visor was on in advance, allowing him to see the boat. He dashed like mad towards the hatch, so that he didn't get seen on an invisible boat.

He made it inside, and rushed up to the Captain, a surly-looking Sharpedo and Fearaligator Chimera. "Shadowfox says your good to go!" Blizzard said. The Captain simply nodded. He then turned to the others in the room.

"We're green! Let's get moving!" He yelled. The men started pressing buttons.

It didn't take long for the ship, along with several other vessels, to start moving out of the harbor and to Hoenn. All were hidden under MACS, and all were loaded with supplies and troops. This was the fleet tasked with carrying over a part of the main invasion force.

Blizzard was thankful for that there was a Navy, even without the Great White ships.

Blizzard got word of some details for the Great Whites: In many ways, it was a mirror in every aspect to the Ocean Cutters Cataclysm sported, minus the improvements-stronger engine, more armor, more firepower, and most importantly, six torpedo tubes on the front, with (duh) torpedoes to go with it. Submarine warefare was a thing that the Ocean Cutters didn't take into account. The Torpedoes in question were to avoid targets that produced a special signal, a signal only Nox could produce.

Blizzard thought about that, the only thing that would keep him calm for the rest of the trip. Hoenn was a naval nation, so once oceanic Hoenn was theirs, it would be a lot easier to invade, Great Whites or no Great Whites.

...

Avalon, Togekiss+Metagross, Serene Grace
Team Nox
The Deserts North of Gaeton Port, Orre
Affected RPers: NES2

Avalon saw the invasion forces, and boy, this was no small amount. This was practically a third of Kanto, in fact. And Avalon heard that Divine Lights thinned out the crowd somewat...Avalon saw multiple Shadowtitan tanks, obviously the stolen ones. Avalon figured that Razorbacks needed to be in a Synth-infested Region to work properly, but who knows?

Half of the Invaders also wore Cataclysm's THIS...However, that didn't make them invincible. The Nox soldiers were wearing Spartan's choice Armor, which would make this a lot easier.

Spartan's choice armor was pretty similar to THIS, although design differences included alternate coloration to make it just a little harder to tell the user from the background (It definatly wasn't going to hide them, just buy them a few seconds), slightly more flexibility, slightly less armor, and spikes that studded out of the knuckle guards, the elbow pads, the kneecap pads, and other places where spikes would be useful in. Avalon didn't wear it because it was still heavy, and he was already very heavy. He was lucky he could fly with the wings he had.

Avalon landed in a group of Nox troops, just about to engage. They weilded various weapons-Bazookas, Shotguns, Machine guns, Grenade Launchers, Pistols, the like. Avalon himself pulled out the Eon Caliber, at last eager to find out how good this thing was.

Eon Night started the assault, Voio shooting a Rocket Launcher from his Skarmory's back. It was sent to Cataclysm's front line, where it went off, blinding the Catalcysm troopers with sand, injuring many, and killing some of them. One Cataclysm trooper got sent backwards, his dead body managing to make another trooper fall.

And that was when the chaos really began.

Avalon rushed forward, managing to have his skin saved by his steel-hard body, and turned on the Viro Laser concealed inside.

It left a melted streak on the armor of the front-line troops. Avalon rushed forward to one, and stabbed him where the streak was.

The Caliber managed to make it through the armor to the skin, killing the trooper. Avalon threw the soldier off the sword, forcing another soldier to fall down when the dead body hit his side. Avalon targeted another trooper, using similar tactics, and getting a similar result.

several bullets got in his skin, but Avalon felt only small pain, and might have mistaken it for an agitating poke if it wasn't bleeding.Dang, he changed more than he thought...The FCE Accelerator was pretty powerful, to enable such a change. Wheras he originally couldn't sheild himself compleatly from anything other than small arms, and could still feel it, now the same applied to stronger weapons, and the chance of reflecting bullets off his skin was much more often...And this was knowing that most of the enemy's weapons were Machine Guns...Dear Arceus, this was crazy.

Avalon flung off the Cataclysm trooper on his sword with Psychic force, twice as fast as the last time he sent a enemy flying off his sword, this time actually managing to force several troopers down. The one directly behind him died from the impact. Again, the FCE accelerator was crazy powerful.

But the one next to him started aiming for Avalon, his machine gun attempting to tear into him...Avalon took a few more bullets as he turned towards the attacker, turned on the laser, and stabbed.

This time, His sword managed to stick out the end. This man had no hopes of recovery. Flinging him off with Psychic, creating a similar effect to last time, Avalon realized how potent this sword was in his hands...Avalon made up his mind on his next target.

He jumped, assisted by his wings, to land on the nearest Shadowtitan, and before the driver could react...Avalon got the laser on and slashed the cannons.

They didn't come off, but they seemed to be disabled, the force at which the sword was swung and the heat of the laser making it rather easy. Avalon then stabbed at where he guessed the driver was. A sudden "AUGH!!" proved his guess right.

Whist Avalon was doing his thing, the Nox troops, whist sufferning some casualties, were starting to prove that no matter which way Cataclysm goes at it, they'd never win. Nox managed to gain the upper hand when the first Shadowtitan went down, using the weakened firepower to let their own tanks forward to engage. Now their own Shadowtitans tried to combat the rest of their hijacked counterparts, those being evident by the different colors.

Overall, Nox had the edge of Arial assistance. Eon Night's other members, still skybound, used powerful Pokemon attacks, dropped grenades and/or used explosive weapons to clean out the Kanto troopers. However, the numbers of Kanto's forces made this a small advantage at best.

This was their turf, it didn't matter who was on it. Kanto, NWO, Cataclysm, it didn't matter: You make a threat to invade Nox, and you're going to face their might.
