The sarcasm is heavy here. =/
I immediately thought of Blitzle and Oshawott when I saw the title. A lot of them make sense; Oshawott, Blitzle, Emonga, Pidove, Otamaro, Pansage, Pansear, Panpour, Purotoga, Minccino, Koaruhie, and Baruchai, along with their respective evolutionary lines.

The ice cream Pokemon is most likely a result of seeing concession stands everywhere selling such sweets at the Zoo.
