And isn't that the best part of Pokemon? A great Pokemon like Togekiss can be interpreted in many ways.

I guess I go for a "Bulky Sweeper" if you will, on Togekiss. I mean, an Ice Beam or Thunder from Kyogre will probably OHKO it whether it's Modest or Calm, but the extra defences would be nice.

And now I'm seriously thinking about dropping Roost for Thunder Wave, just because it'll justify use of Nasty Plot more effectively. I could just do Air Slash, Roost, Nasty Plot, and Thunder Wave, but I'd miss Aura Sphere.

Wait a MINTUTE!
Thats a Good IDEA!
Because Togekiss has very High Sp. Attack Get it?
Alright So Just Thunder wave the Foe.
And Use Nasty plot many time (Use Roost in case if Hp is low)
Then start using Air slash (Deals about 300 Damage Max if Nasty plot used Succefully)
and Plus 60% Chance of Flinch.

So It gonna be really hard for the Foe to Attack.
Even though your fighting Electric or Rock type.
You can Kill it with Air slash because of High atk.

THANKS THE, YOU SHOULD BE MODERATOR.

LOL. That's a moveset I've been working on for a bit now... I think its pretty damn good too, except against Rock, Electric, and Steel types, which Aura Sphere covered.

And yeah, I'd make an excellent Mod, but it's not up to me, and I'm not the type to ask to be one, for that is the biggest no-no for becoming a Mod. Plus, it's a lot of work... Not like I couldn't handle it!

ok so you guys sorta seem to know, least more than me, about pokemon just looking at a glance any changes or something im not doing with my set?

scizor- aerial ace, x-scissor, roost, secret power, swarm
magnezone- lock-on, zapcannon, mirror coat flashcannon, magnetpull
empoleon- toxic, dig, surf, drillpeck torrent
bronzong- trickroom, extrasensory, grassknot, confuse ray, heatproof
drifblim- baton pass, shadowball, stockpile, subsitute, unburden ( maybe trade shadoball for roost
alakazam- psychic, recover, reflect, lightscreen, synchronize

my usual tactic is high defense, high special attack. usually start with drifblim, sub, stock, baton to alakazam, reflect, light screen, (recover if needed) then switch back to drif then to bronzong for trick room, then ect.

togekiss isn't really fast so lose the ev's in speed. heres a set utilizing the amazung bulk togekiss has a long w/ nasty plot.

togekiss
modest
leftovers
252 hp, 252 sp.atk, 4 spD
thunder wave
air slash
nasty plot
roost/aura sphere

nasty plot and thunderwave is risky because it takes 2 turns to set up. with kisses bulk it'll be able to get off nasty plot easily but if you use thunder wave 1st trainers tend to switch out and with many threats in the OU like CB scizzor and Ttar tend to easily lay a 2hko and in some cases ohko's. this is why i never utilzed nasty plot in an actual battle.(with togekiss) with an hax'd 60% flinch air slash everything seems great but air slash is resisted by to many pokemon. this is why i would go with aura sphere but that leaves no self healing move. nasty plot takes roost a way which is why i never use it.

Old thread is old. What is it with new people and dragging up threads that died years ago? Anywayyy...

In game, they're fine. Anything works in game. However that team is certainly nowhere close to reaching the standard necersarry for competetive wifi battles. Lurk the forums, learn about EVs and team composition, read articles on smogon. When you've read up and know how competetive teams are built, post an RMT in a new thread rather than one that died three years ago.
