Name: Aaron Black
Appearance: What part of the word 'reformed' do you not understand?
Aaron's eyes are grey. He has various burn scars scattered around his body. To hide this, he tends to wear long-sleeved clothes. There's not much he can do about the one on his face, however- it covers his left cheek and forehead. He's rather short, only about five feet six inches. Decently muscular, though he's no athlete. Painfully skinny.
Which wing are you in: West Wing- Cell Block A
Insanity Level: Not insane or criminal, though was at one point in his life. Currently reformed.
Personality: Aaron is harsh and brusque, and doesn't mince words. He's cynical and introverted, and doesn't let people in. Moody, short-tempered, and distrustful, his opinion of others doesn't tend to be very high. His favorite words are 'go away,' and don't be surprised if this is how he greets you. This spiny shell hides... Well, okay, no matter what you do, Aaron is a bit of a jerk, but really, the reason he keeps people away from him is he doesn't want anyone getting hurt. If you confront him, he'll tell you it's other people, but really, he's the one afraid of getting hurt. He doesn't trust people, and his Pokemon are his greatest- and only- friends.
Normally he doesn't even attempt to be civil, now that he's being held in the Institute, he'll go out of his way to be rude, just to cause trouble for the guards. He has quite clearly stated he does not want to be here, and intends to keep leave as soon as possible. Whether or not he'll follow through on this threat is a matter of debate with others, but not with Aaron. He's going to get out, one way or another.
History: Aaron has never been a particularly happy person. He was grew in the slums of various cities in Johto. He was orphaned at an early age, and a boy growing up without a guide in a bad part of town is practically a recipe for disaster. The story is sadly predictable; he fell in with the wrong people, and soon racked up a criminal record.
One fateful day, when Aaron was fifteen, he and a couple of his 'friends' went out on a business venture. A rival gang had been causing the group some trouble, and as payback, they had decided to burn down a abandoned building their rivals habitually frequented.
The attempted arson went horribly wrong. They hadn't the foresight to start the fire on the outside of the building, and the fire spiralled out of control, Aaron locked inside. His buddies panicked and left him for dead. He probably would have died if a passerby hadn't noticed the fire and called the fire departments. When the firefighters arrived, Aaron had already passed out from serious lack of oxygen, and was rushed to the hospital.
When he finally awoke, he found himself charged with the various misdemeanors he had committed. He was found guilty and was sentenced to a prison term. He was released early due to successful reformation.
When Aaron heard of the Tournament, he figured he might as well give it a try. He was dismayed when he became one of the finalists and learned their true intent. He doesn't want to be the way he once was.
Pokemon Team: Coal- Male Absol- Is Aaron's constant companion.
Cosset- Female Kangaskhan- Unable to have her own young, so considers Aaron her own, and very protective and nurturing. Harm Aaron while she's around, and prepare yourself for instant doom.
Dune-Male Flygon- Somewhat flighty and scatterbrained. Rather unpredictable.
Bone- Male Marowak- Calm and levelheaded. Very intelligent.
Weapons: Aaron is really better at hand-to-hand combat then anything else. However, he does arm himself with a pistol and several knives.
Other: Aaron has an intense fear of fire ever since the accident. He also has rather weak lungs. Has the unusual talent of being able to fit himself into very small spaces.
