Default Re: [SU] King of Monsters (Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh crossover)

Name: Aiko Moto
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Deck Theme: Landstar Warriors
Bonded Monster: Swordsman of Landstar
Appearance:
Spoiler:

Personality: Though Aiko looks gawky, she has inherited her mother’s love and talent for dancing. With the right beat, she is very graceful. Without it though, she usually lives up to her clumsy apearance. Her clumsiness is not limmeted to her physical skills, but also affects her social skills. She has a hard time talking to people, and perfers her own company. This leads her to generally be a quiet person. But she is her parent’s child. She is a very caring person and will usually do what she can to help anyone. She is very strong willed and will stand up for what she believes in even at the expense of talking to people. In many cases she will try to let her deck do the talking. She has a stong offensive deck which offsts her quiet personality. She is very skilled at dueling, being that she was taugh by the best. Mystical Elf and Dark Elf are the only Monsters in her deck that aren’t warriors, and tied for scond as her favorite cards, just behind Swordsman of Landstar. She carries the Winged Dragon of Ra with her, but very rarely has it in her deck.
Bio: Aiko was born to Yugi and Téa, and was taught to duel by the best. She learned at a young age, and was taught many strategies. The first card she herself owned was the Swordsman of Landstar, and despite his weakness, she always managd to use him effectively in duels. She designed her deck to power him up, and although there were much better stratigies she could have used, her father supported her ideas, saying that it would help her defeat her opponents if she belived in the heart of the cards. She wasn’t so sure she believed this, but she was determined to make her deck around her favorite card.
As much as she generally disliked social interactions, she always loved dueling. She entered tournaments and often won. She found that her most challanging duels were against her rival and one of her closest friends, Robert Kaiba. She never passed up an opportunity to duel him, and during their last duel she put Ra in her deck just in case. As it fought Robert’s Blue Eyes they created an odd portal which she was sucked into. She awoke in in a strange place, amazingly, next to her Swordsman of Landstar.

Default Re: [SU] King of Monsters (Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh crossover)

If that last trainer spot is available, I'd like it.

Spoiler:
Name: Shay Miru
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Appearance:
Spoiler:

Shay is lank, light for her size, standing at 5'8" only weighing 110 pounds. Her face looks perfect due to lack of display of emotion. Half the time she wears fingerless gloves, and it isn't often she takes her shades off. She always looks either unimpressed, annoyed, bored, uninterested and or wanting to be somewhere else.
Millennium Item: Key
Personality: Shay is extremely independent and hates 'baby sitting' anyone, unless it's not human. She can't stay in one place for long and is always on the move. The only person she can feel comfortable around and talk to are her Pokemon, and the rare select few of actual friends she's met on her long lifetime of a journey. Shay usually has no interest in others, no concern's for others, and very much shows an arrogant attitude towards others, even shown in her battling style; always choosing a Pokemon that has a type disadvantage against her opponent. Nevertheless she is a tactical genius in battle and makes her own reputation even in contests as well. Never say there is something Shay can't do, she will be out to prove you wrong. When Shay is upset in anyway she will not hesitate to go all out on the next thing she sees, or tell off what made her upset. Few know what Shay is truly like, unfortunately those few are in the few friends she has made over the years.
Bio: Shay grew up on a Breeding ranch where eggs were raised and taken in by trainers who didn't want them anymore. Thus, few of her Pokemon were actually caught, but that didn't become a great trainer. She constantly explored the massive property under her parent's ownership, most of it still wild Pokemon territory in order to double the ranch as a reserve. Shay didn't leave home until she knew her parents could manage the ranch without her. At home she kept any Pokemon that she had trained and wasn't taking with her on her journey, and after years and years of travel, that amount grew to massive numbers. From Nidoking to Rhyperior and everything in between, Shay kept coming back with more Pokemon to let at home to help around the old place. Considering the family was growing larger every year, the more helping hands, the happier everyone way. Shay only then decided to move on to other things that the usual trainer did, and that was take on the league challenges. Shay was only 12 when she decided this, having training Pokemon on her own since she was 6.

Shay went first to Kanto taking on the gyms, earning her eight badges but not yet participating in the League tournament. Instead she travelled to Johto, repeating the same process, earning her eight badges but not partaking in the league tournament. This happened in Hoenn and Sinnoh as well. The only tournaments Shay participated in were non-league related tournaments, and contest tournaments. Shay had a reason for not entering in each Region's league as of yet, she felt it wasn't the right time, despite what a few people protested of her abilities. Shay still went on her way, eventually learning about Isshu and making her travels there. She found the new adventure to be challenging, and that was something that made the female smile. After much training, and making her way to 8 badges as before, she left like it was about time to take on a league challenge, however had to think it over first. As she returned to Sinnoh, a storm soon quickly approached, forcing Shay and her team to take shelter. Finding a cave on Mt. Coronet, she witnessed a strange phenomenon in the sky. Golden beams came down, as if some other worldly power were causing them. After it was safe enough to fly again, Shay took to the skies to search for a point that she could have guessed was under one of those golden beams. It wasn't long before she found something. It was golden as the beams were, in the shape of a anhk but it looked like some sort of key. Deciding to hold on to it, Shay took some thread and tied it around her neck, hiding it under her shirt.
Pokemon:

Asharas the Charizard
Shay's pride and joy, the 'Ultima' of every Pokemon Shay owns. Asharas, also known as Ashe for short, is ever loyal to Shay, acting like a second conscience to her trainer when she needs it. Asharas is kind hearted but has a strong will and an even stronger sense of justice. If anyone hurts Shay, they'll have 'Death by Charizard' to pay and then some. Shay doesn't use Asharas unless she absolutely has to because of how long the two have been training.
Moves: Flamethrower, Air Slash, Blast Burn, Dragon Pulse, Purgatory, Solarbeam, Smokescreen, Shadow Claw

Bryn the Dragonite
The 'big mama' of Shay's Dragonite's. In a more detailed analysis, Bryn is not only motherly, but she is also a powerhouse, a heavy hitting physical powerhouse. You don't make Big Mama mad without getting a good wallop, though it is hard to make her mad. Bryn acts like the mother to everyone, even Shay herself, and is kindly and generous to those around her.
Moves: Dragon Rush, Aerial Ace, Extreme Speed, Fire Punch, Roost, Ice Beam, Thunder, Gale

Bandit the Sceptile
Bandit is the romantic ladies man of the Robin Hood type, when he isn't leaving crowds of swooning grass types to awe in his utter coolness, he's preserving forests, training in the best way he can, and over all being a bit of a smart ass. Despite this, Bandit is just as fast as he is cunning and a freaking nuisance of an opponent for his foes to deal with, and always has an ace card up his sleeve...if he had sleeves.
Moves: Energy Ball, Detect, Razor Wind, Swords Dance, Dragon Pulse, Synthesis, Leaf Blade, Thunder Punch

Fyslow the Flygon
Fyslow is the ill-tempered, grumpy twin of Tearess. Unlike his sister, he takes offence easily and isn't afraid to get into a fight. He isn't afraid to go all out, beyond his own limits to win that fight. A very proud Flygon, Fyslow can be demanding of Shay, but he hasn't ever been so disobedient as to attack her whenever he doesn't get what he wants. Fyslow can be calm and collected but that is solely when he isn't bothered.
Moves: Dragon Claw, Stone Edge, Supersonic, Sandstorm, Dig, Claw Sharpen, Screech, Fire Punch

Abik the Ononokusu
Abik, a more recent addition to Shay's team, can be aggressive and intimidating around strangers or those he sees as a threat. Around Shay, he acts as he did in his prevo forms, adorable, cuddly and wanting affectionate attention like a puppy. Gaining his trust will switch his 'person alert mode' to that of a more kindly dragon. Abik likes to eat, sleep and battle, and yes, that is in order.
Moves: Double Chop, Dragon Claw, Dig, Brick Break, Dragon Dance, Iron Tail, Shadow Claw, Double Team

Vio-Nai the Sazando
Vio-Nai is another recent addition to Shay's team, and the specialist tank of the current party. Vio for short, she can be kindly, but she has a temper and if you push the right buttons, you're in deep trouble. Shay is the only person who can get Vio-Nai to calm down. In battle Vio-Nai isn't the fastest, but known how to hold her own for a very long time.
Moves: Hyper Voice, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower, Flash Cannon, Surf, Protect, Charge Beam

Accepted. Now all we need is Elecii's reservation to be completed and we can be on our way. Be sure to check out the DS thread to see where you'll be starting.

Default Re: [SU] King of Monsters (Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh crossover)

Name: Gabriella 'Gabi' Studis
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Appearance:
Spoiler:

Millennium Item: Millennium Scale
Personality: Gabi is kind, but has an attitude. If she is asked a question she thinks has a simple answer, she'll answer sarcastically. She is very brave, with only one fear (arachnophobia). She isn't afraid to speak her mind, and doesn't take an insult lightly. Although she can appear mean and rude, in actual fact, Gabi is very helpful and kind-hearted. She hates to see people upset over something she's said, and will always apologise.
Bio: Gabi became a trainer at 11, getting a Pachirisu from a friend as a starter. She caught a few Pokemon after travelling from Kanto, to Johto and then to Hoenn. She only got three badges in Kanto, and two in Johto, but seven in Hoenn. She didn'tm get her last badge because she had to move to Sinnoh, where she got six badges. In Sinnoh she caught a Skorupi, which she later evolved into a Drapion.

After travelling through most of Sinnoh, Gabi decided to rent a house in Snowpoint. When she got there to see the houses avaliable for rent, she found a golden scale. She kept it, even though she didn't know what it was.
Pokemon: Pachirisu, Drapion, Kadabra, Leafeon, Togetic, Gengar

Is the bio too short?
