My 2 cents

You can hate Pink Floyd you want, but how about you keep your mouth shut about others liking them instead of ripping on them?

yes I can still be an аsshole about music
Really you sort of blew it out of proportion. It's not like it was random people, it was her friends for one thing. Really I rip on one of my friends for liking country because he rips on me for liking metal/metalcore.

I really hate it when people have the mindset that certain bands are the almightly gods of music and we should respect them no matter what. While fans of those bands decide to bring it upon themselves to go around and rip on those fans for liking them. Really it's a double standard.

And btw, I don't like Pink Floyd. Oh wait! Since I listen to crap like TDWP and TDEP, I really don't have a say in this. Sorry, it totally slipped my mind. /sarcasm

Guys, can we let the whole Pink Floyd thing go and get back to our normal state of elitism?

The Devil Wears Prada blows beyond belief. As in blows, i mean, huge huge huge huge *****.

So, i got the Opeth DVD i ordered in the mail today, and.....it's amazing....It's just amazing. Played it with my surround sound, and the quality of both picture and sound, just amazing. And it comes with three discs of audio, two dvd's, for 30 bucks, that's a win win. First DVD disc is them playing all of Blackwater Park. Second disc is them playing a song off of each album(excluding BWP) in order.

Forest of October (from Orchid)
Advent (from Morningrise)
April Ethereal (from My Arms, Your Hearse)
The Moor (from Still Life) <3
Wreath (from Deliverance) <3
Hope Leaves (from Damnation) <3<3<3<3
Harlequin Forest (from Ghost Reveries) <3<3<3<3<3
The Lotus Eater (from Watershed) <3<3<3

I couldn't stop grinning when they played Harlequin Forest.

Mitch, get this dvd package, you'll fall in love with BWP and Opeth ALL OVER AGAIN.

Little update, tomorrow I will not be on, I'll be at Dallas(two hour drive) to see Slayer, Megadeth, and Testament/BACKSTAGE PASSES, **** YEAH. Then saturday I'll be coming back to my hometown to see Rush WITH BACKSTAGE PASSES, **** YEAH. Sunday I will be seeing Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax, and yes, you guessed it, WITH BACKSTAGE PASSES.

Hate me? Suck it dry. :D

Believe me, I've been waiting for this before it was even announced! I blindly predicted it cuz I couldn't make it to any of the shows unfortunately. =(

I'm ordering the $123.49 deluxe vinyl edition off the RoadRunner Records website because I'm a psychopath. I thought I posted it here before, but if not this is it:

http://store.roadrunnerrecords.com/E...fRb!1813282731

I'll probably get the deluxe 5 disc DVD set too. Akerfeldt owes me sex.

The setlist is wonderful too. I'm not sure I could choose a better one (maybe sub in The Baying Of The Hounds for Harlequin Forest as it's my favorite off the album).

I think it was the legacy edition of BWP that gave me that feeling, hearing it in 5.1 DVD audio. Same with Still Life, though that one was even more drastically improved from the 5.1 DVD audio (if you don't have the Still Life remaster, you'd probably enjoy it a lot).

Doesn't it feel nice? I did that the other day too with a few CDs I got. I also spent $90 on three Lost soundtrack CDs and two Nick Drake CDs recently. xD

Yeah it does. They were new too. The last ones I got were old, but I actually had to wait for these to be released.
I know realise why I spent so much money. Two of the CD's have VERY elaborate cd boxes. And one of them has a DVD with an hour worth of music videos.
The third CD was really bland, but it was a Japanese single/debut of a Korean girl group.

Lost Soundtracks?
You like Lost? I didn't know that!

My Chemical Romance - Na Na Na

This is one of the catchiest and best singles I have heard all year.
