Academy of written work?
As says the title, how about we have one? Note that Written work denotes both FanFiction (Pokémon and non-Pokémon) and original work, because we all can't write like the some of the people here.

That'd be awesome, I need some help with my writing. I call Neo for head honcho for it.

I'd have to decline. If you find there's stuff missing from the writing guides and you think something should be added to them, that's fine and I'll gladly make that addition, but I just don't think I would be up for running a writing academy.
In all honesty, I'm trying to finish my last Pokemon fan fiction before going forward with writing a novel I hope to publish someday. I've gotten a lot of awesome and really helpful advice, inspiration, and support from this site over the years, but its time to move on from that.

To be honest you can't teach a writing style like you can a graphics style.

Well, you could have people proofread and give their opinion regarding what was written.
But yeah, most of what people should be learning would have to come from English class. People here could give their input and correct a typo here or there, but the real training should be coming from school.

I read the guides and they're pretty useful. I just thought it'd be cool to have someone who's had so many awards and fics that actually got completed as a leader for the academy.

Agreed. Or we could have a proofreaders community for people to help improve stories etc. :D.

I think that's probably what would work, but if there's individual questions or something you have you could always post a new thread in the Author's Corner. ^^
