How can i improve my shuckle?

My shuckle is like a boss. ive trained him so much

Shuckle lvl 78

Withdraw, Wrap, Earthquake, Powertrick(switches atk stat with def stat)

atk.55, def.400, sp.atk.58, sp.def.373, spd.42

anything i can improve? if so how can i raise my other stats other than def. and sp.def.??

shuckle has no offensive stats or speed. so you will not see them go past 50 points even once you hit level 100. HP is what you should have maxed out 1st, give him a lot of HP UPs.

Have Lots of HP-UPs , Carbos,Calcium,Protein and all

If your talking about pokemon GOLD and not HEARTGOLD. Than there is no ev training so the only way to specialize in one stat is to us the Vitamins so +10 hps and +10 all the other stats you need like dart had said. However, I believe there is till a cap like ev training unaware of what that is in gold but I hope i helped.

EV training does still exist, however it is called Experience point training which you can max out all stats, there is also IVs but they only range from 0-15

Oh Shuckle, one of my favorite Pokemon. Everything is good, but the moveset. Power trick isn't that good since you have such slow speed with Shuckle and Earthquake and wrap aren't so good. I personally use Stealthrock,Toxic,Rest and Encore.

No it is not true just because it kinda shows in the series doesn't mean its true. I personally tried that and wasted my time and you don't need rare candies, just to tell you that truth you would rather train than give them rare candy. gets you more stats when you level up. and well its common sense that ground attacks don't affect any flying pokemon or you can let shuckle hold iron ball then when you physically attack your enemy the iron gets atach to that pokemon then it can be affected by ground moves. hope this helps
