BP

Electivire threw itself into Bulbasaur with a quick burst of speed, sending the Bulbasaur tumbling back several feet, landing upside down on the ground. The bulbed Pokemon tried to flip back over, but the way its bulb touched the ground was in such a way that it wasn’t possible for the Pokemon to flip back onto its feet. It was stuck on its back. Suddenly, the tip of Bulbasaur’s bulb began glowing with a fiery intensity.

”Be careful!” Sec warned Craig. “I think its about to use a Solarbeam; if it fires off while its flipped over like that then the beam will hit the ground directly and cause a huge explosion.”

The light began expanding and growing brighter. Shocker would have to act quickly, or he would be in a serious predicament.

“I think its about to use a Solarbeam; if it fires off while its flipped over like that then the beam will hit the ground directly and cause a huge explosion.” Sec warned Craig.

"I'm going to have to come up with a plan and quick!" Craig said to him self. If I go in for a direct attack, the Solarbeam might hit Shocker, but If I do nothing, Bulbasaur might blow up the ground below us! Craig thought as he started to feel the pressure. Shocker looked back at his master.

"Shocker, I want you to charge towards at top speed and make sure you fire punch the side of Bulbasaur so he flips right over!" Craig sounded nervous.

"How big do you think the explosion will be?" Looking towards Sec.

"I pray to god this works!" Looking up to the skies to see a couple of Pidgeys fly over head.

Shocker knew what he had to do. The giant electric bear got into a running stance.

"GO!" The skinny trainer yelled. At the sound of his voice, the yellow Pokemon ran as quick as he could towards the tiny green Bulbasaur who was about to disrupted the ground that both the trainer and the ranger were both standing on. Spinning his right arm in a circle motion to build up power, Shocker's right fist was set ablaze.

"Electivire!" Shocker roared as his fiery hand made impact with Bulbasaur's left side of his body. The Bulbasaur went flying up 10 meters before he knew what was happening.

Shocker punched Bulbasaur into the air with a powerful fire punch and the bulbed Dinosaur flew several feet into the air. However, there was one thing that Craig hadn’t taken into account. He had prevented the explosion; however, Bulbasaur was now flying through the air and the tip of its bulb was pointed right at shocker.

With a burst of sunlight, Bulbasaur fired off its Solarbeam straight for Shocker, and hit the thunder bear directly in the center of its face. The thunder Pokemon let out a loud roar before falling to the ground as Bulbasaur tumbled back into the grass as well.

Sec looked over at Shocker; he was clearly fainted, though Bulbasaur seemed to still have a little life left in it.

”Sorry about Shocker,” Sec said, “that was a strong blast… What will you do now?

Eyes wide open, Craig ran over to fainted Pokemon. He had a good run, this means I have to send out King... Craig thought, holding Shocker's Pokeball tightly.

"You did good Shocker, Return!" Shooting a red beam straight at the yellow giant sleeping bear. Craig looked at the panting Bulbasaur, the burn marks were very visible to the eye. If Craig was going to capture Bulbasaur, he knew it was going to have to be now.After putting Shocker's Pokeball in his trainer's belt, he then yanked another Pokeball off his belt. Hopefully, I wont need to use King in this battle The lanky trainer thought as he threw the round ball into the sky, releasing the beast that dwelled inside. As a red beam shot from the ball, the purple spiky monster started to show.

"King, come on out!" Craig said cheerfully. The purple monster quickly got into battle position as it made eye contact with the week Bulbasaur.

"Don't worry King, I'm trying to capture Bulbasaur" Craig said taking another Pokeball off his green and black studded belt. King didn't say a word.

"You see unlike Shocker, King is quite" Craig said to the Park Ranger.

"Anyways, Here we go!" The trainer yelled as he threw the park grade Pokeball at the tiny green panting burned plant monster.

Sec watched as Bulbasaur was sucked into the Pokeball that Craig had thrown. The ball twitched once, twice, three times, and then sealed shut.

”Congrats!” Sec shouted as he walked over and picked up the Pokeball and tossed it to Craig. “Where to ne…”

Before Sec could finish his sentence a loud grown emitted from the woods.

”Tang…”

“What was that?” Sec whispered.

”Growth…”

With that, a large walking pile of vines stepped out of the brush and stared down Sec and Craig.

”It looks like a really big Tangela!” Sec exclaimed, “I’m sure your tired from the Bulbasaur battle; do you wanna battle it still or should I take care of it for you?”

"I think I will try to capture Tangrowth" Craig said picking up Bulbasaur's Pokeball.

"King, get ready!" Craig said carelessly. King quickly got into fighting mood as it went into fighting stance.

"Now don't knock out Tangrowth and make sure you don't over do your self again!" Craig looking as worried as ever.

"King tends to go to the extreme when he fights, he doesn't like giving up" The tall lanky trainer told his Park Ranger.

"Now use Megahorn, make sure you hit Tangrowth with your Poison Point!" The giant silent bloodthirsty monster began to charge towards the laid back giant Tangela.

Nidoking rushed forward, head tilted forward and sharp point ready to stab. The monstrosity thrashed into the wild Tangrowth with its sharp spiked head. The horn however, slipped right between the vines of Tangrowth; therefore, while damage was still done, the poison from Nidoking’s horn couldn’t be released into Tangrowth.

Tangrowth was angry with the way that Nidoking had carelessly charged at it and picked the monster right off the ground. Holding the Nidoking right over its head, Tangrowth tossed the several feet away, sending King tumbling across the ground. Tangrowth then proceeded to extend vines from its body and whip King while he was down. Thankfully for King and Craig, Tangrowth accidentally caught one of its vines on King’s horn, causing it to retract in pain as poison began flowing through its body.

"Good, work King! Looks like we poisoned him!" The trainer told his trusty Pokemon. Craig looked around at his surroundings, he noticed a tall old rotting tree right behind the oversize vine Pokemon. Craig chuckled as he planed out his next move. Craig got on his knee and ran his fingers threw the lush green grass. The trainer quickly stood up and nodded at his Pokemon.

"King, charge towards Tangrowth and preform a double kick on my command!" The brave trainer said to the Purple monster.

"I know this is going to work" The lanky trainer told the confused Ranger. King began to charge the Tangrowth.

"Get ready... and.... kick Tangrowth!" As King swung his foot into the center of Tangrowth, Tangrowth smiled and got ready to block the attack.

"Not so fast there Tangrowth!"

"King, spin and knock Tangrowth in to the tree!" King quickly landed on his hands and began to spin the leg aimed towards the Tangrowth. Craig made sure earlier that King would be able to swing Tangrowth on the grass.

"There we go!" Craig said cheerfully

King charged at Tangrowth once again and jumped into the air, bringing its feet down upon Tangrowth one at a time. The double kick to the face sent the vine Pokemon stumbling several feet back and eventually the Pokemon fell flat on its face.

The entire party was excited, it looked like a win for the Craig; however, suddenly four vines flew from the Pokemon’s back and flew through the air towards King. The Vine Whips beat King in the face repeatedly until the monstorous Pokemon had been even more weakened then before; the vines then plunged into the ground around Tangrowth and began sucking up energy from the earth.

”Ingrain,” Sec murmured, “Nip that in the butt now or it’s going to completely recover on you!”

"Not you don't!" Craig quickly said as he took a Superball from his belt. Craig knew if he kept on battling, he would surely lose. "Superball go!" The lanky trainer threw the ball at the charging Tangrowth.

"Come'on, I hope this works!"

Craig tossed a Superball at Tangrowth, hoping to catch the vine clad Pokemon while it was down. As the Superball reached Tangrowth however, two vines flew from the Pokemon's back and swatted the ball back into the trainer's hands.

The ball flew right back into the trainer's hands. Craig looked at his odds.

"Its a good thing that ball didn't smash" Craig chuckled. Craig re-threw the ball right towards the Pokemon as if he was playing a game of baseball with his friends.

This time when Tangrowth tried to smack the ball out of the way it was not so lucky. The ball slipped right in between the two vines which the viney Pokemon had sent out and bumped the top of the lying Pokemon’s head, absorbing the Pokemon within. As the ball dropped to the ground it wiggled once to the right, to the left, to the right again, and the stood still as it locked shut.

Craig and Sec jumped for joy as Craig picked up his newest Pokemon’s Pokeball.

”Congratulations!” Sec exclaimed, “Where would you like to go now?”

Craig picked up the ball and looked at the sun.

"I know theirs a park rule about having only 3 Pokemon, so I guess its time to leave" Craig looked to his side. A single wet tear drop fell from his long face.

"Till we met again!" Craig said as he took off into the sunset. Sec stood there as the trainer started walk off.

"I'm going the wrong way anti I?" Craig said, trying to keep a straight face.

"We'll walk together, how does that sound?"

"You totally are!" Sec said as he walked over towards Craig's wrong position. "It's this way," he said smiling.

Sec grabbed Craign by the arm and pulled him in the opposite direction. With Flygon swooping just overhead, the boys left the park until the next time that Craig would enter the National Park.
