Bought a used Silver, started it up, and ran into the tall grass. I saw a shiny sentret.

You must be thinking, "whoopee, shinies!"

Well, I had no Pokeballs, and the battery didn't work. So that sucked.

Oh, and I regret never beating the original game after putting years into it.

I just couldn't let it die out.

also another very bad experience. i was playing Pokemon mystery dungeon. i had beaten it several times before. so i decided to cheat just one time.
i had infinite health and was fighting a diglett. it used fissure and even with infinite hp i died. i had a wonder gummi and x-ray specs. i immediately turned off the game

I bought Silver and put it in my GBC. I got through two gyms and finally saved it.

Few hours later, I turned it on and...

Nintendo sure got a nice call from me.
