I heard all Pokemon outside of the Johto Dex merely come up as question marks. Not sure how true this is as I'm sticking to classic Kanto/Johto Pokemon.

Yeah, I think they come up like that in the dex, but can still use them.

Does anyone know a way back into the Sinjoh Ruins? I already did the Arceus event there, but I like going back to special places so that I can hatch eggs there.

you would need to have a second arceus from a different event {EX: first was movie 12 and the second could be gamestop.} Only then would the game let you back into the sinjoh ruins. that is unless you have AR then perhaps there is another way.

When is Latios' nature set in Soul Silver? Right when you encounter it or is it right when you talk to Steven and he informs you that it is roaming around Kanto? Just trying to figure it out so I can see if I even should be trying to look for it with my Timid Synchronize Ralts.

Is HeatGold / SoulSilver compatible with the Game Boy Advance games? In other words, can I trade from Fire Red, Leaf Green, Ruby, Sapphire, and / or Emerald, to HG/SS? Is there a Pal Park or trade method available?

Pal Park is where the Kanto safari zone was.

Yeah, I think they work like the other games with swarms and whatnot.

I think it says so in the instruction manual.

Go to Daisy and get (massages/scents, I forget which) on your Feebas. The contest stats are hidden in this game, and this raises Beauty. Daisy is in Pallet Town, above Oak's lab.

I just beat all the Kanto gyms...and my 5 pokemon team rounded out to level 50.

This is no where near enough to fight Red.

Any training spot suggestions? This is where the game makes me sadface, no VS Seeker.

The Elite 4 is probably your best bet.
