Yes, put it on youtube so we could all see. I'd love to see it. I hope this is sarcasm by the way. I never go try to beat a full game using just 1 Pokemon. I use 6.

Okay, I did my first video with the Bulbasaur only game. It's still uploading though.

Bulbasaur's a good Pokemon to have in Blue. Bulbasaur's basic stats are higher than Charmander's, but on the other hand Charmander's Attack, Special Attack and Speed are even so it might be easier to take down tough Pokemon first. But Charmander's HP, Defense and Special Defence are quite poor so foes will have a hard time taking down Bubasaur.
So Bulbasaur's a great choice to have. Remeber you can always start the game again if you have to.

I think it was meant to be Sunny Day so you don't need to charge up Solarbeam.

Oh and good idea (: I think I might try using one Pokemon in Crystal

Weather wasn't brought in until Gen II. Blue is Gen I.

Bulbasaur is a good mon to solo-run with. Because it's getting all the EXP, it's easy to evolve it before Misty. The only problem I can see is the fact that your rival will have Charizard eventually, whose types will BOTH be SE. Also, he'll have Alakazam (Psychic > Poison) and Pidgeot (Flying > Grass).

Can't a venusaur learn Earthquake? That's a good solid attack...

Earthquake is only useful for Charizard, because you can take advantage of it's low defense stats and obviously you have the type-advantage. This doesn't help with your rival's future Pokemon though, especially seeing as both Pidgeot and Alakazam have a speed advantage for first-attack. You'll be relying on Venusaur's high Sp.Def stat to handle the first attacks of those two, and after that it's up to the level and the fact that Venusaur's overall stats are better to determine the outcome.

Earthquake can't touch charizard anyway .
But good point, except, in- game you have like no worries when it comes to any trainer. Especially if you're only using your first pokemon; it'll be at crazy high levels and murder anything your rival pulls out.
