Affiliation... - Pokemon Forum

Well, i've been on this and another forum for a while, and I see many similarities between the two. This other forum is the GTS+, another Pokemon forum. Well, this site is allowing other sites to affiliate themselves with them by doing this:

Many people on this forum also have accounts with them, and if we do this, more people may come to our site, and maybe we can have some sort of event, like a D/P/P or HG/SS tournament to see which forum has better gamers. Anyways, sound good?

I'm not sure many people can handle accounts on multiple forums. Still, this idea has potential, and I believe it can be sustained. If it isn't against the rules, which I don't think it is. :X

Actually it's a good idea.

Anyway, people should be able to handle multiple accounts, like for example I go to 6 forums a day not to mention msn, facebook and stuff and I only use 2 hours a day (usually around 1-3 hours really). But that's just imo.

This is more Ryan's decision than anyone else.

As far as I know, PokéBeach does not have an official affiliation to PE2K, and yet I've heard of a massive Wi-Fi competition between the forums. I don't know all that much about it, as I was not involved in it.

Also, as far as I know, Ryan has not accepted any affiliates, and I think it's because we don't need it. It's already popular enough on the web, popular enough to be up there with the big boys, being Serebii and Bulbagarden, in addition to several others. It was actually announced on Bulbagarden, part of the Pokemonis Encyclopediae, that PE2K had "re-opened its news section" of the website. Link here.

But you could always start something here on PE2K just as the battlers here on PE2K have with PokéBeach. Who knows; by that point, Ryan may actually think about it. But it has to be a strong connection.
