Default Hacked pokemon?

I have an Action replay and I've recently been making myself pokemon and migrating them. Are these pokemon considered "hacked". I mean, I traded someone in japan a shiny squirtle. I was just wondering now if that's a no-no. Because I raised my own shiny squirtly, too, and I saw no problems with it. Green shell is awesome.

If you obtained the Pokemon from an AR, yes it is considered hacked.

Well, I'm just wondering then, why does it matter? I mean, I only did a shiny caterpie and squirtle. Granted the squirtle came out with like, 40 ribbons and maxed "cool" and was clearly not natural; However, the Caterpie came out completely normal. I couldn't tell it apart from a regular one save for a little star next to the picture of the caterpie, but I assume this is the case with all shinys. So I ask you, what difference does it make? I can understand the ethics in cheating the game, but at the same time, is it so wrong?

Cheating ruins the fun and enjoyment you get out of a normal, unhacked game save. Cheating makes the game too easy. Think about it, normally there would be a one in eight-thousand chance of you getting a shiny (roughly). But then, you just made shinies there. As the post above me says, people spend days trying to get shiny pokemon, but then you just enter in a code, mess with the games coding and get a shiny right there and then. I used to cheat myself. I admit it. But that took all of the fun and enjoyment out of the game. If you wanted to make a competitive team with an AR you just enter a few codes, if you wanted to make a competitive team without an AR, you need to train them all, EV train them, breed and all kinds of different things.

My point is, cheating takes all of the fun and challenging points away from the game.
