Both die.

Who sends Pokemon first now? D/P/Pt btw.
This is the way Mike taught me to do it.

When both trainers had to send their Pokemon at the same time at the beginning of the battle, Person A sent first. Now that they have to send their Pokemon at the same time again, Person B goes first. If for some reason they have to send their Pokemon at the same time again, then Person A would send first. And so on.

It depends on who sent the Pokemon first last time. It has nothing to do with who sent the last move.

Who calls the next move after that would be the trainer who is sending his/her Pokemon second.

Exactly what I thought it was. My last battle was reffed incorrectly then, I guess =/

Actually it's all about the last move. If I said that to you Eraizaa, I was probably in a ... funny state of mind. What Pichu Boy said is correct.

I was just wondering does Sand Attack work on Levitate Pokemon?

Also Glare on Ghosts

Yes, non-direct damage work on types immune to those attack- barring Poison type attacks on Steel Pokemon, as they all cause Poison status and steel pokemon are immune to that. And Thunder wave on Ground Types.

Which means:
Sand attack works on Flying/Levitate Pokemon
Glare, Attract, Helping Hand and similiar work on Ghost Pokemon
Hypnosis works on Dark Pokemon

and so on.

You actually scolded me for saying that it was all about the last move...I think...

I guess it was one of those moments were neither understands each other when they are actually saying the same thing...I hate it when that happens. ^^;

Yo, didn't know if this was the place, but me and Marshy (name change be damned) discovered an error in the Refpedia. It claims that Captivate increases Special Attack, while it actually lowers the Special Attack of an opposite gender Pokemon.

Proof

Yo, Shinies and AS had a problem and for some reason they came to me. I'm fairly certain of this but Jr apparently disagreed when AS was being tested so...

Trainer A has out Random Mon A
Trainer B has Random Mon B
Trainer A switches Mon A for Yanmega
Trainer B does something

Speed Boost activates, right? Even though Yanmega was switched in.

No it doesn't.

Yeah, I just Shoddy tested it. That's weird, I always figured it would based on the ability itself. Sort of like weather damage.

Okay, so I'm not a ref or anything, but... I've got a question. Okay, so if a Pokemon is Paralyzed... the Ref. Encyclopedia thread says that there's a "25% chance of not being able to attack each turn, as well as a 25% SPEED reduction."

Does this mean that the Speed reduction and being unable to attack are "rolled" (for the dice...) seperately, so that they can happen on the same turn, or just as one roll, so only either or (or a normal attack) can happen during a single turn?

Thanks. This sorta confused me a little....

The speed reduction is permanent as long as you're paralyzed. So every turn, your speed will be 25% of what it would be without paralysis, making you much slower. The ref then rolls every turn to see if the pokemon is able to attack, the chance of it being fully paralyzed being 25%.
