Pokemon Movie 12 Vs Harry Potter 6 in Japan - Pokemon Forum

Found this in BoxOfficeMojo.com, its a close fight between Pokemon Movie 12 and Harry Potter: and the Half Blood Prince for the box office sales in Japan, according to the ticket sales survey from July 18-19. Harry Potter is in Lead with $10,239,565 (weekend Gross) in 844 Screens, while Pokemon is not far at the 2nd place with $6,969,601 (weekend Gross) in 366 Screens, Pokemon might not make it on top for overall, but for sure it will be the number 1 Movie for Domestic and Animation Department :)

Wow. To bad the movies don't do nearly as well in the USA. I kinda wish i lived in japan they seem more my crowd.

I wanna be where people are okay liking "childish" things and could read manga there whole life an be okay with it. The US is too serious.

well, i read manga in school and im in 10th grade and no one says anything.
i dont go around saying i like pokemon tho, thats a deathwish

I play the games inbetween classes at my college, and no one bothers me. But I'm around more mature people (most of the time) and I'm pretty scary looking so

i dont read manga so i wouldnt know much in that situation. However going into junior year and showing interest in pokemon is a gang magnet

i hang with a small group of kids (no asians) and a few like pokemon but the subject is switched rather quickly when pokemon is brought up. mostly the group i hang with plays a lot of cards and talking about the sinnoh region is discouraged but not taboo since no one really likes the 4th generation of pokemon in my school

Yeah That's true, But I don't bother.. In Elementary ive got ton's of friends who likes Pokemon too, IN High School, ive got few friend talking and hanging about with Pokemon. lol

When im in college, I dont even bother.. I browsed Pokemon Website in school, I Play Pokemon Emulator game in School (And many have got affected with my Pokemon virus in School. lol) but They were teasing me. "Inyi When will you Evolve?"

Pokemon is merely thought of as childish were I am. To be frank barely anyone would know what smash. bros is. Everyone seems fed up with Harry Potter now. I prefer potter puppet pals.
