Default Strong Pokemon in PMD2

I'm raising Pokemon in PMD2, and I wanted to know what some good ones are ^.^

Like, good stats and movesets. Thanks.

what level is recommended before you try to beat the Hidden Land?
I am only level 30 and so is my partner. Leader: torchic. Partner:Turtwig. Grovyle is no help at all.

anything over 40 and youll be fine. you might want to push it to 50 cause dialga is really hard

It may sound really stupid, but Shedinga can be Very good. Give it a weather, have the globes for bug and ghost types (can't remember the names, those things that prevent damage from one type of super effective moves), raise its HP over 50 using life seeds and sitrus berries and have a dodge scarf just in case. Place it second in your team, activate the gap prober IQ skill and make it learn shadow ball. It's even better if you raise it's stats with calciums etc.
***It is no reliable as a leader.
