Is it worth replaying?
I played and completed red and yellow back when they were first released.
Recently I stumbled upon Fire Red, I just played the game up to the beating the elite four when I lost my save and was unable to continue.
I want to know how much more game play there is after beating the elite four with the new islands etc?
Is there enough to justifty me playing it all again or not?
I know its a matter of opinion but is there really that much else todo (I know theres more islands and the msytery dungeon (which I'm not fussed about as its part of the GBC games)).
I'm throughly disapointed to have replayed the original part of the game, and I am willing to do so again but only if theres some substainial play left after the elite four.
All opinions are appericated, thanks.

I love the FireRed gameplay after the E4. You get all kinds of new pkmon, and a lot of new objectives to complete.

Re: Is it worth replaying?
Go for the replay. FireRed and LeafGreen has so much to do after defeating the Elite Four that it will be a crime to not countinue playing it. The trainers pokemon levels go higher and you can catch so many more pokemon. Also once you get to a certain part of the game you can rechallenge the Elite Four who will not only have higher level pokemon but they will have new pokemon too.

Re: Is it worth replaying?
I love after E4.
all the Johto pokemon are so fun to train and use. As for me, I used Dunsparce who just completely dominated, and a Yanma who was fragile, but got hits in hard and fast.
It has so much replay value, its one of my favorite games.

Re: Is it worth replaying?
If you're a Kanto fan, you should replay it just to experience it for yourself. There's 7 islands I think so it is a good chunk of the game...maybe about 15% percent of the game. Nothing significant but in my opinion, go for it.

After the E4, you get new kinds of Pokemon, new trainers to pwn, and legendaries I think.

After E4, and if you have 60 pokemon, you can talk to Oak and you will gain the National Dex. This allows you to get one of the legendary dogs (depends on which starter you selected.)
You can also go to more of the Sevii islands to catch Johto pokemon, which was a blast for me. In addition, there is a little side quest for you to do, and upon completion, you can link up with Ruby/Saphire.

When I saw the forum I just saw your name and thought you were the one reviving the threads. Guess not.
I'm replaying because I'm taking a scramble challenge on Serebii. Can't update there because I was warned for a stupid unrelated reason, though.
