Two different shows maybe, but they were both dubbed. Lots of stuff gets screwed up in translation.

Would it make everybody happy if I say Pikachu is a phermaphidite? That way, everybody wins. :D

To be honest, and I don't mean to sound rude, but I don't believe anything you've said in this thread has helped anyone "Win" at all.

I'm just going to go with what I believe and that is that Pikachu is a boy. Or Ash's Pikachu in particular.

Just Ash's Pikachu, thank you very much. But yeah, stuff can get screwed up during dubbing for just about anything with dubbing.
