What's an Iconic Kanto Team?
I'm playing through Pearl with a team of some of the most iconic Kanto Pokemon, in an attempt to recapture to charm of the original games. Right now I've got Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu. I'm considering Geodude and Jigglypuff as the final two. Any other suggestions to help round out a classic Kanto team?
Oh, and none of them will be evolving to simulate a makeshift Hard Mode.

Instead of Jigglypuff, you should put in Gengar and for Geodude you should replace it with Dragonite. As for the others they're alright.
Pikachu + Venusaur + Charizard + Blatoise + Gengar + Dragonite = Classic Kanto Team Last edited by Ajarr; 04-18-2009 at 12:57 PM.

Anywho, I suggest Snorlax and Geodude. It would be kickass.

Hmm, I'd say, assuming you were keeping your original four:
-Pikachu -Bulbasaur -Charmandar -Squirtle -Pidgey -Eevee Well rounded

If you really want to pay homage to the original, go with Ash's original team.
