As Orik and his bodyguard were leaving, they heard a blast behind them. Orik whirled around, facing himself with Fright Knight.

"Well, if it isn't the worst king in Dwarvish history. Step aside, fool! You are not what I am here for," the armor-clad elf said.

Anger swept across Orik's face. He was not about to let this elf talk to him.

"I will not leave! This is my throne. I may have promised Eragon I would not confront you, but I might just break that promise now. You are a disgrace to all elves and riders," responded Orik.

He held his war hammer in his hand, ready to use it any moment. Thoughts were racing through his mind. Would there be any reprecussions if he fought this rider? Would it cause conflict between the races? He took deep breaths while he considered his possibilities.

Fright Knight and Scourge

"Bah! Fool!" Fright Knight growled. He swept his hand laterally, and the shadows threw Orik and his bodyguards from the vicious Elf's path. He reached the statue of the first king.
"Now is the time I will gain even more power than I have now." He said, climbing the statue. He reached the top, and cleaved the helm from it. beneath, was a pyramidal diamond, which sparkled darkly
"Yes, this is it!" he reached out and took the stone. As soon as he touched it, the darkness entered his body.

In moments, Fright Knights body changed. His muscles became more toned, his chest became broader, and his body larger, untill he stood almost six feet tall. The cape of flames solidified into a brilliant red, embolized with an ancient symbol. The armor's hilights turned to a magnificent gold.

The new man reached up his hand, and removed the helm. His face had turned a dark, greenish-brown, with firey red hair. His hand clasped shut, crushing the hemlet.

"I. Am. Risen." was all he said. He turned, revealing a pair of golden eyes beneath blazing eyebrows with a close-cropped beard
"Now, the world will tremble before me once more!"

Serena and Kashet

"Yeah I did," Serena called back, anger creeping into his voice. "Fright Knight did a terrible thing. He will be punished for his crimes." She gripped the saddle in front of her so hard her knuckles turned white.

:Not so fast tiny one,: Kashet gently soothed her, :not until we are stronger. Fright Knight and Scourge somehow multiplied their power tenfold back there. We would be no match for him.:

Serena nodded, then turned to Trent. "How far are we from the training field? I've forgotten the way."

:Again?!: Kashet's irritated voice was heard in the minds of everyone. He snorted, projecting a puff of dirty white smoke into Serena's face. :Honestly Serena, if you didn't have me to guide you then you'd wander off the edge of a cliff looking for Rhunon on how to do a proper twirl with a blade.:

Serena's cheeks flushed a rosy red, but her eyes showed tht she knew it was true. She swatted Kashet layfully on the neck, knowing that it was a mere tickle to the dragon. "Shutup," she said.

Mjolnir Seercry and Toreki
Crags of Tel'Naer

Mjolnir felt a shock in his chest, and the same shock in Toreki through their connection. Mjolnir roused himself and was surprised to see the other students and their dragons gathered near him. THey had their backs to him, so he decided to check on Toreki first.

Toreki...Wake up...TOREKI!

The dragon, shocked into consciousness reared up. Toreki roared with enough force to shake the Crags, while cutting large swaths of rock from the cliff with his tail.

Mjolnir turned sheepishly to his fellow students.

We're awake.

Trert and Deryde

"Yeah I did," Serena said, anger could be heard in her voice.. "Fright Knight did a terrible thing. He will be punished for his crimes."

I just nodded my head. "I can't wait till the day we take Fright Knight down. I hope I'm there to see it, better yet I want to be the one that makes that happen."

"When that day comes, I'll be by yours side." Deryde said gallantly.

Orik and his bodyguard were pushed across the hallway by a strong force. Orik's body smashed against a wall, bruising the back of his head and leaving several cracks in the stone wall. He got up with anger on his face. The rider had merely swept him aside. This angered Orik greatly. He saw the rider undergo a transformation that would strike fear in the heart of anyone. The rider removed his helmet and crushed it. Fright Knight now looked twice as powerful as he did before. However, this did not discourage Orik.

"You may be strong, but that will not stop me!" yelled Orik as he ran; Volund was in his hands, ready to strike down the rogue Dragon Rider.

The man shook his head and grabbed the axe in mid swing. "Many years ago, I came to this land in search of something better from my people. Far to the south of the land you call Surda lies a vast desert." He threw Orik across the chamber, his facial expression never going past bored. "This is the land my people call home. After coming to this land, I started the war with the dragons, in a hope that the Dragons and Elves would leave this land open for the taking."

"I am known by many names. But my name by birth....is Ganondorf. I beleive you've been sitting on my throne." He grinned amusedly, his eyes never wavering from Orik's position.

OOC: metal did you really just bring Zelda into an Eragon RP. I thought I saw it in your last post, but then I thought you could do better than Ganondorf.

Orik was swept across the room by the power of the possesed Rider. He slowly got up and was about to run towards his opponent again, when his bodyguard stood in front of him.

"I can not let you risk your life. You need to run," the blond dwarf said.

Orik was about to say something, but the bodyguard turned around and ran towards Fright Knight, sword in hand. Orik thought to help, but he knew he could not die right now, for it would leave the dwarves in chaos.

Ganondorf

Ganondorf smirked. He grabbed the sword in mid swing, and stabbed it into the earth on the Dwarf's cape. "I allways admired the courage of the dwarves. I have no quarrel with you, so I will give you this warning." He turned towards the door, and looked back "Do not interfere with my plans." He said, and walked out.

OOC: Sorry for the long delay, people. I'm currently grounded, so I'm online in secret, right now... Hehe, go mischief! In any case, here is my post.

Ryden and Kyrr

Ryden smiled at Meghan and sat down in front of her silently. "Forgetting about him is probably the worst possible thing to do, actually." Ryden laughed lightly. "Eventually, we'll be strong enough to defeat him, but... Ah well, no need for depressing thoughts, now." Kyrr sat down beside his Rider, growling under his breath.

"He is not fit to be called a Rider... He is just some elf who has a Dragon working for him, that is all..." Kyrr shook his head, clearly annoyed at the prospect of an evil Dragon.

"Actually, you are wrong. He was once a Rider. But now he is no better than Galbotorix was. He is nothing but a traitor to all of the races, only interested in power. Turg said.

"Once again, well said my friend. He will pay for his greed and arrogance." Rork said. He began wondering when his master would start the lesson.
