this happened to my silver game so i bought gold from a friend and it worked fine on his gbc, as soon as i played it in mine the same thing was happening again. i thought that it was my gbc that was causing it.

If you read the description, down at the bottom, the video's creator says that those remakes are fake. Sorry about that, I would like a G/S/C remake too.

The GSC games are very underrated. I believe that they are at least at Par with DP if not a bit better.

In Crystal? You can only get it without catching the dogs in Gold and Silver.

Oh, my bad, I only have Gold and Silver and have only caught Ho-Oh in Gold...in fact, I thought you could only catch Lugia in Silver and only Ho-Oh in Gold, kinda like Dialga and Palkia in the new ones?

Yep, the Gameboy Advance system's game slot fits both GB and GBA games. :)

Does anyone here know how to get Snorlax with double-edge on crystal? I've looked in the official guide but the only egg move listed is lick.

Doesn't seem like it can be learned in Crystal itself.

However, Snorlax learns it on level 48 in RBY so you could trade a Snorlax that knows it from there to Crystal if you wanted it. Seems like that's the only way.
