Hatch a Pichu with Volt Tackle - Pokemon Forum

To hatch a Pichu with Volt Tackle is pretty easy. Get one female Pikachu and another male Pikachu OR any Fairy Egg group pokemon(e.g. Cherrim). Simply put the two in the daycare centre and but give one of the parents a Light Ball. Light Balls are sometimes held by wild Pikachu. And Volia! A pichu with Volt Tackle. I've done this plenty of times. Enjoy

VOLT TACKLE DESCRIPTION:

Power: 120
Acc: 100
Effect: User is hit by recoil that is equal to one-third of the damage inflicted.
Super Contest Type: Cool
Appeal: 2
Super Contest Effect: Earn +3 if the Pokémon that just went hit max Voltage.

Also, considering that Raichu now gets Thunderpunch, (physical stab, without the recoil to magnify his flimsy defenses) who cares?

It always had Thunderpunch, it's just that you need Volt Tackle to mix sweep effectively because of the power boost IIRC.

for me light ball is impossible to get...

Thanks for the info, I might try that because I like to use the 120-damage/.33 Recoil moves, like Wood Hammer or Brave Bird
