To Wish to die...or to Live?
This is, yet again, another BlackRose story. Before anyone freaks out about it, I've been planning out the story, so hopefully it will get more than a few chapters.
Prologue: You Would Want to Die
A small Buneary stared up at the huge Team Galactic base, her brown eyes wide.
Her fur wasn't the normal shade of light brown and tan color, but a hot pink color instead.
Her brother, several weeks ago, had been captured by Team Galactic, and she had used those several weeks as training to ready her self. She gulped and tried to move closer to the metal building, but her legs refused to move. C'mon, Rose, you can't start being bashful now...
She took a few deep breaths, and opened her mouth wide and cried out, "ICE BEAM!!!" The blue light that formed grew two sizes, then it was fired at the building, immediately freezing the wall.
She hopped forward at a good speed, then jumped up, "Jump Kick!" She slammed her foot through the wall of ice, wincing as a few of the ice shards cut her fur.
When she busted in, she noticed she saw no machines, no test tubes, or even cages. Instead, she saw only sleeping Pokemon, lying down in beds. She didn't see her brother among them, though.
She made her way through the room, tiptoeing, then she froze. Her ears were sensitive enough that she could heard the slightest sound, but she hadn't heard a thing.
She made her way toward one of the beds, climbing on one of the nightstands so she could see. Her eyes widened when she got a close look at the Pokemon: It was a fusion, made up of more Pokemon than she could count. Even worse, she saw now that every Pokemon in this room was dead.
Her eyes clouded with remorse as she realized that her brother could have already been made into something like them. But, part of her still clung to the hope that somehow, someway, he was still alive.
She ran out of the room and into the small hallway. No one was in sight, so she stuck her nose in the air and sniffed.
A strange, ghastly scent filled her nostrils, and she instinctively shielded her nose with a paw. She couldn't pinpoint the smell; it was coming from everywhere.
"This place is much bigger on the inside," Rose mused, staring around the base with narrowed eyes. Then, she heard footsteps, coming from far away but getting closer and closer.
She couldn't, and wouldn't be caught. She began to run, the footsteps beginning to fade. She stopped, hoping that she had lost the person who seemed to be chasing her. Then, she heard more footsteps, right beside her. She looked up to see several short light-blue haired men standing over her with narrowed eyes.
She flinched away from them, backing away slowly. "How did this Buneary get in here?" One of them asked.
"That must've been the noise we heard." Another commented. Then, as if reading my mind, one said.
