I just heard that others heard it from you. And Billy already pointed out that it was in the FAQ, which is ridiculous. And HKim allowing you to make that thread was also ridiculous.

At least she was trying to rectify what the FAQ said wrongly.

That's why I thought it was PAC as well...

So it's CPA now, right?

Yes, it is CPA now.

By comparing the Grass Knot base damages to Smogon's, I've found out accuracy problems. This is from Smogon:
Quote:
Weight Power
< 10 kg 20
10.1 kg–25 kg 40
25.1 kg–50 kg 60
50.1 kg–100 kg 80
100.1 kg–200 kg 100
> 200.1 kg 120
This is from Ency:
Quote:
#159|Grass Knot|Grass[/b]|[/b]Varies|100%|20|Special|1 Enemy|
Grass Knot's base damage depends on the weight of the Pokémon recieving the attack
Up to 22 pounds: 20
From 22 up to 55 pounds: 40
From 55 up to 110 pounds: 60
From 110 up to 220 pounds: 80
From 220 pounds to 440 pounds: 100
More than 440 pounds: 120
*From X to Y means all numbers that are lower than Y starting from X, including X.

So by converting Smogon's, we'll have...

Grass Knot/Low Kick(Works for both):
Up to 22.1 pounds: 20 BP
From 22.2 pounds to 55.2 pounds: 40 BP
From 55.3 pounds to 111 pounds: 60 BP
From 112 pounds to 221 pounds: 80 BP
From 222 pounds to 442 pounds: 100 BP
From 443 pounds onwards: 120 BP

EDIT: And also, about the new status changes... Does that mean that if the user who used Confuse Ray was faster, and when we roll for the other Pokemon to see if it smacks/snaps or whatever, and if it snaps out straight away, it'd get 0 turns of confusion technically? That sounds kinda stupid. ;s

I'm pretty sure the answer is yes.

The encyclepida has all of that rounded down (or for the most part, but I highly doubt 1lb is going to make a difference) since URPG rounds down. And URPG is a bit different from the DP Metagame, or so I've been told.

And, yes. Why does it seem stupid? You can smack yourself infinite times before snapping out. Which sounds more stupid?

It's not as if you bypass the status effect. You still have the chance of smacking yourself.

I ask 'cause negative modifiers are still modifiers...I think...^^;

Wow...I didn't even get an "I don't know" from anyone...

Anyway, new question:

-Guts, does it negate the attack lowering properties of burn, or if the Pokemon gets burn does it halve the attack and then increase it by x1.5?

Guts ignore the attack drop, so ATK will be 1.5x.

Got a question concerning Double battles :o

Say Mon A uses Attract on Mon B, and Mon B attacks Mon C, will Attract come into play? I should think yes, but I just want to confirm.

No, I don't think so, since Attract makes Mon B fall in love with Mon A, so Mon C is perfectly safe (or not safe, in this case :P)

But yeah, I'd get someone to test it, just in case. :x

The PM you sent me wasn't this clear. D:

Last time I recalled, it still comes into play. Since Mon B is attracted, it still requires a roll for it to be able to move before attacking any target.

What would happen if you used Worry Seed on a Pokemon already asleep?

Question:

If a Pokemon is using its first Outrage/Thrash/Petal Dance, and the opponent Protects/Detects (or if it misses), would the attack end there without confusing the user, or would the user be forced to keep going?

What if it is the second time the attack is used and it's going for a 3rd?

If the Pokemon uses Protected and the opposer uses Outrage/Thrash/etc then it ends without confusion, yeah. And if its the second/third time then they still get confused.
