Re: Rap vs. Rock Thread
Soulja Boy Tell'em sucks. Why there were some people in this thread was compairing him to Lil' Wayne? And people that hate rap just brought up a crappy rapper that is a discrace to hip hop. Like 'nuff said, Soulja just got lucky, he won't be that lucky anymore. Crank That (Superman) was the second worst song I have ever heard of 2007. The first worst song of 2007 I have ever heard was Dey Know, by Shawdy Lo. So don't say that is whole rap gerne sucks because you'll brought up a garbage music artist just for that, come on.

Patrick Stump is from Fall Out Boy. Brendon Urie is from Panic At The Disco. William Beckett is from The Academy Is...
They all have melodic voices, and none of them scream. I have nothing against screamers, but just because someone doesn't scream, or has a beautiful voice doesn't mean that they don't play rock.

I don't like screaming either, and I like Panic! and Fall Out Boy just don't know the names of new bands well , but I'm saying that I like what is now called classic rock (Van Halen, G'N'R, Aerosmith, Metallica, Ac/Dc, etc,) much better than "New Rock" (White Stripes, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Green Day, etc.) but I still like new rock as well.

Ok I'll compare it to Flo Rida, lil Wayne, Three Six Mafia, those are all pretty big rappers. Still the same message over and over. Yes some of it is catchy, but it's repetative.

Classic Rock for me...
I don't hate all rap, it sorta depends on the song for me.
