Well. I'd sugest that you trade out all your "wanted" pokemon to a different game. then restarting...

The reason that long code isnt working is because of its format, You need to give it to them downwards so it goes in properly...

But once thats done then you should be back to normal, there isn't any need to restart :).

You can already tell that code that pixelpix posted is fake because of this part:

01010101 01010101 01010101 01010101 01010101

Why would you tell AR to replace the same (blatantly made up) location with the same thing more than once in a row? :/ Makes no sense. You can make a Pokesav code to put on only the apps you want.

And no, it isn't the "format". You can copy and paste horizontally oriented codes into the code manager and it works fine. It doesn't work because it's just someone's random numbers.

Actually those are the numbers that pokesav gives, which is what pixelpix used to get the code. Of course some of the AR codes that pokesav gives don't work well. I guess COM did not figure out exactly how disactivating apps works. If you could explain how, it would be great. Play around with the code a bit and change some of those numbers and you'll see how it works. I did not quite figure out how to make it give you the apps you want. It gives you the number you choose, but some don't get disactivated correctly.

Strange. Maybe that part of Pokesav was never put in? 010101010101010101 forever makes it seem like there's filler.
There are the normal "L+R activation, game ending junk cleared" pieces of that code, but there's no meat in the middle. Looks like a dud to me.

I could ask someone, but I think that the OP should just stop worrying about.. apps.

Well it seems that:

200013b9 00000016 says how many apps are active. 0x16=20

e00013bb 00000018 says that the following 0x18=24 bytes will be copied to offset + 0x13bb.

01010101 01010101 01010101 01010101 01010101 00000101

apps 1-4 apps 5-8 apps 9-12 apps 13-16 apps 17-20 apps 20-24

01 means activated, 00 not activated.

At least that's how it should work.

But it doesn't quite work. It does something, just not what you would think it does.

That's how it should work, but remember that the locations should be in there, too.

It's referencing location 01010101 when it really means to replace with that. It should have the locations of those apps in intermittent lines in between.

Location 01010101 being overwritten with 01010101 isn't going to... well. It might do something, but I wouldn't suspect that it would be doing the correct thing.

All AR codes are supposed to be:

Location - replacement
Location - replacement
etc
etc
etc
etc

The first line needs to reference a location, that must be why it doesn't work then?

No. See here

I see.

Oh neat that has codebreaker. I've never even seen one of those things in person, though.

Well there's gotta be something wrong with the code.. If you can cheat to activate them you can obviously cheat to unactivate them.

Edit: If the OP even still cares, he should get the code that his friend used and post it here.
