Default Question about EVs and their stat distributions

So, for every 4 EVs you put into a stat, you would gain 1 point in that stat during level up, correct?

So, my question is, if you pump a bunch of vitamins into a pokemon, which would allow 100 EVs in a stat, why won't the stat jump up by 25? How does it decide how to distribute, is there a maximum stat point gain per level?

Well, I don't know exactly, but that's not entirely how it goes. I can EV train, but in my expiriences, when you give it vitamins, it does'nt jump up insanely. Only when it gains EV's from wild pokemon, or battling people.

No, they both jump. Vitamins give you 10 EVs for the lvl its on, and continue to fill in for the levels gained. They do the same but one is set. (Correct me if Im wrong)

It is divided up between all of the levels until 100.

The only way they would all get added at once is if you added rare candies until level 99, then EV trained, then it grew to 100.

Otherwise, no, they will never all get added until the Pokemon hits 100.

4 EVs does not equal one stat point gain upon level-up.
4 EVs equals one stat point higher by level 100.

When the game calculates a Pokémon's stats, it takes the base stat for that species, adds the IV value, adds one-fourth the EV value rounded down, and then multiplies by one-hundredth of the Pokémon's level, rounding down. Because of that last step, base stats, IVs, and EVs have a smaller impact on low-level Pokémon than high-level ones. However, since they can all get to level 100 eventually, it evens out in the end. If you were, theoretically, to take a lv99 Pokémon with no speed EVs and a nature that's neutral to speed, and gave it a full 252 speed EVs before it leveled, it wouldn't be surprising to see it get a +63 from 99 to 100.

I think the Ev's get distributed evenly throughout the levels that the pokemon needs to gain.EVd pokemon dont truly show their superior stats that you trained until later lvls/lv 100.

So does that mean you should always make sure your pokemon are at level 100 before you go into the battle tower? to get the best out of the EVs?

Or doesn't it matter because it just takes the stats directly from what they were when that pokemon was level 50??
