Not that it's really on topic, but I did the same thing with my USB the other day.
It went through the wash but it was okay thankfully. I would have died, I use it to transfer all my schoolwork.

I never caught a missingno, and I never use the cheat advice for ridicules codes, just replenishing the Gummi/Surf/Dive supply. It gets annoying to go back in a dungeon just to get Surf again.
