Default [War VII] Arts Category

This war, due to a lower turnout from the previous war on drawn art, several different ideas are made:

1. Keep it as is, and forget about turnout.

2. Make it rotate between drawn and graphical arts (that is, one week drawn, one week graphical, one week drawn, one week graphical).

3. Make drawn art a biweekly event (that is it appears twice in the war), and keep the graphic arts category in tact.

4. Combine the two categories in graphic arts and drawn arts. That is, both methods or either method should be used for the new combined category.

Option 3.
Really, I think drawn art and graphic arts should be kept seperate. >> -pokes self- Some are good at graphics and stink at drawn art, and vice-versa...

Option # 3.

Graphic arts are quite different from regular art, in my opinion,

Some people like me suck at actual art, but are decent at graphic art. :O

I think it'd be best just to keep them separated.

It should be kept as it is, for the reasons Hakken gave us.

I think combining the two would be smart. It would level the playing field, so everyone can participate in one arts section, and would be a great solution to dropped activity.

I think the current rules are fine. Then again, it's my opinion.

Combining the two allows for people to draw art and then edit it on their PC. Drawn art also isn't really popular anyways.

I'm happy that I caught this thread. Option 3 gets my vote. Although, combining the two is "okay."

Keep the Graphics intact, and make the Drawing biweekly. The Graphics got a good turnout, so we should keep it the way it is. The Drawn Art got a fair amount of entries, so every other week sounds good to me.

Drawing is really different than bannermaking and such. Option one. :|

What about spriting, I can understand it has a lot of n00bs, but they're are a lot of decent spriters who would want spriting involved. :|

Biweekly. Graphic arts are popular enough to remain alone.

I say biweekly. It'll give people for time to work on their art, making it better. D:

I like this idea. We separated graphics from drawing because they can't compete next to each other. Graphics always won over drawn art.
