Need Help with team please!!

I don't have gameshark or anyone near to trade with. I rely on myself in this game. I think i have a good team but terrible moovsets. the only pokemon im iffy
about is crobat. I want lapras instead but is it not good to have 2 water types? I'll show you what i mean: (Note: this is only an ingame team.)

Changes in Bold. Gyrados isnt really a good choice of pkmn in the Gold/Silver series, Rain dance is just to buff surf's atk power.

Definately switch Gyarados out for Lapras, for starters. Lapras may not look it, but it's much tougher and has a better variety of simply better moves. :p

I think u should teach Meganium Frenzy PLant and definatly get rid of the gyarados unless u need a HM slave.

Bleh.... Flareon isn't that great at all but you might get lucky. Breed with Snubble to get Charm so you can mess with Cursers.

Crobat sucks. Electric / Ice combo lands at least a neutral on everything except Magneton and Lanturn.

Focuses on massive attack. Gyarados has terrible Sp.Attack but a STABed Hydro Pump does OKAY damage. Note that Gyarados DOES NOT learn Earthquake in this generation.

What im understanding here is that Gyrados sucks. Ok then. Lapras will replace him. But i also here Crobat sucks. And already im having trouble keeping golbat alive and happy. Ive always wanted muk. But i don't know how to teach expolsion or any good movesets for him. Also i have 2 other extra choices for the empty slot: Xatu (cuz i need a psychic) or Jinx. I would get Alakazam but i dont have anyone to trade with to evolve him. So any more assistance will be helpful. (Once again note, i dont have a psychic.)
While im at it, i hope you would have seen the thing with my team of trying to have big strong pokemon (Gyra,Ty, Drag etc. other than Flar and crob of course.

I'd go with Jynx personally. Between Xatu and Jynx, the latter cleans up. It has STAB on both Ice Beam and Psychic as well as Lovely Kiss which is 75% to put your opponent to Sleep. Her Special Attack is very strong and she has good speed so there isn't really much to complain about.... except for her defense. However Jynx outspeeds most things which therefore means she can usually put things to sleep before she gets hit.

As for a moveset, I'd go with this:

JYNX
~Lovely Kiss
~Psychic
~Ice Beam
~Attract/Reflect/Mean Look

First three are really your bread and butter. There are a few options for the last move though I would go with Attract; use it after you put an enemy to Sleep and it will offer you a good chance to avoid an attack when it wakes up which will allow you to reapply Sleep.... in my opinion pure evil . Reflect is there to help out your defense... but Meganium could do it for Jynx. Mean Look will prevent switching and should only be used when you know you can outhit your opponent.
