Can someone tell me what EV and IV trained means again?
and how do you EV/IV train a pokemon?

Sorry, Monkey Boy, that's not right.

EV = Effort Values
IV = Individual Values

EV Training

Those guides explain thoroughly, it made me understand it.

Basically, those two things is a special way to train your Pokemon to give them an advanatge in battle. It's time consuming at first but you really see the difference. Thhis way, you can have a Garchomp that's killer in Attack and the same thing for a Porygon-Z in Speacial Attack. EVs also tell you why it's bad to feed your Pokemon a bazillion Rare Candies.
