If I remember correctly, there were in fact special versions of the Coliseums in Yellow.

You dont have to put your email, just make a new topic asking where the pokemon is.

Another thing would be to google it.

Also, please dont double, triple post (posting right after your last post on the same thread)
And the member "gold" is banned so his question cannot be answered, plus that post was made in 2004, 3 years ago

I don't know why, but for some reason i don't mind the crappy graphics in rby. They're definitely better than all the versions. If you weren't around when rby came out, and are playing just the new pokemon games, your missing out.

...Charizard can learn Fly in Yellow? dangit! I'm sure it can't in R or B...

anyways - nice team - although you may want to consider teaching your Pigeot Mirror Move, as at least that is one good move that it can learn...Other than that I don't like using flying types unless it's for transport reasons via Fly! I'm lazy like that... Also, try finding someone to trade your graveler to and back again to get Golem, he is a solid rock/ground type in RBY.

what do you think of my team, and movesets?

Blastoise - (I want to keep my starter...call me sentimental)
Surf
Ice Beam
Body Slam
Earthquake

Mew - (I acknowledge the lack of Psychic, but that's like squashing an ant with a boot, especially in RBY - I want my Mew to be Physical-Sweeper anyways)
Body Slam
Earthquake
Swords Dance
Hyper Beam/(Explosion? maybe?)

Snorlax
Body Slam
Earthquake
Self-Destruct
Hyper Beam

Golem
Earthquake
Rockslide
Body Slam
Explosion

Gengar
Confuse Ray
Toxic
Dream Eater
Hypnosis

zapdos
T.Bolt
T.Wave
Fly (because I feel too lazy to cycle everywhere )
Thunder

I realize there is a heck of a lot of body slamming and earthquaking going on there, but...well, you can't pass up on two of the best Phys. attacks in the game. Having said that, any pointers?

**EDIT - LukeyJohnno, the team above includes a Mew that I caught using the Mew-Glitch in Blue, just to clarify - it's not from a GameShark or some-such

Yellow is weird that way.

Blastoise - (I want to keep my starter...call me sentimental)

This isn't bad.

Mew - (I acknowledge the lack of Psychic, but that's like squashing an ant with a boot, especially in RBY - I want my Mew to be Physical-Sweeper anyways)

Earthquake
Swords Dance
Hyper Beam/(Explosion? maybe?)

Yeah, Hyper Beam should never be an option! Explosion would be better, even - or some other Physical attack to maximise type coverage.

Snorlax
Body Slam
Earthquake
Self-Destruct
Hyper Beam

Hyper Beam again?... You could use Rest to annoy, especially since it completes the image of Snorlax.

Golem
Earthquake
Rockslide
Body Slam
Explosion

Gengar
Confuse Ray
Toxic
Dream Eater
Hypnosis

This isn't bad as an annoyer.

zapdos
T.Bolt
T.Wave
Fly (because I feel too lazy to cycle everywhere )
Thunder

Thunder's kind of useless when you've got TBolt. Go for Drill Peck for a good Flying move?

Okay, today, I am getting a Gameboy Color, a Red Version, and a Blue version. Now, can you trade between the two games with the link cable? Or do you have to find an old one? And what in your opinion is the best starter to get? I'm going to name my trainers Red and Blue. And I am going to perform the Mew glitch on my games, so, how hard is it to do? And on like, and scale from one to 5, how fun would you rate it? 1 or 2 being D/P, 3 being Fire Red/Leafgreen, 4 being R/S, and G/S, and 5 being like Emerald, or Crystal.

~The cable used for Game Boy Advance game will not work with Red/Blue/Yellow. Though the compatable cable has (or can have) the same shapely connections, there is a different cable necessary. Mine is black in color, versus my grey and purple GBA cable.

*there are generic cables offered by second party companies. I have seen them offer transparent pink/purple ones*

~Starter: In Red/Blue, Brock, the first gym leader, will not have a Rock move on his party. As such, your choice in starter does not really matter. Bulbasaur worked better for me in Red Version, as Viridian Forest has loads of Weedle, saving me money on early antidotes with Bulba's dual poison. Also, Bug is effective against Poison in Red/Blue/Yellow.

~The glitch is not so much hard to do as the timing itself. You essentially pretty much have to press as though both button presses occur at seemingly the same time.

~I don't really enjoy your rating system, but I would rate it as I would rate FireRed/LeafGreen. But for the presence of the Islands, as they do not appear in Red/Blue/Yellow. I do, however, rate these games high for the presence of the Missingno. trick. Works great with the Safari Zone.

Okay, thanks for the info. But since the cable that I have will not be compatible, where can I get the right cable? Should I be able to find it at most video game stores? (i.e. GameStop, Game Crazy, EB Games) Yeah, I wanted a Machamp in my Red of Blue, and a Gengar.

To get Bulbasaur you can also try to use Potion on Pikachu at least 20 times, and then talk to her.

Yeah, with the Mew glitch. Not in Yellow, though.

It has to love you, so have hearts over it's head, not just jumping.
If you wanna cheat and make it like you faster, keep giving it potions when its HP is full. It'll say "It won't have any effect" but it increases Pikachu's happiness anyway.
