Both work, but if you're going with CBmence, then i suggest using a fire move in the last spot

Imo, go with avalanche on Rhyperior so that Garchomp doesn't hurt nearly as much. Blissey or something to wall Azelf wouldn't be bad over Wailord either =/

For your Salamence I would try this:
EV Points and nature is excellent
Item: Focus Sash (Those ice attacks are just nasty) or Life orb would be interesting....
1. Earthquake/Stone Edge
2. Dragonclaw
3. Aerial Ace
4. Dragon Dance

I know you have other pokemon that have earthquake, but it works great with physical sweepers. I have tried Brick Break, it's good, but it doesn't work that great with a Salamence. I would definately choose aerial ace over brick break.
