Exclamation Useful pokemon

You all shouldn't believe using one pokemon or three..
you should use all of your pokemon to lv. them up
The useful pokemon type to defeat the elite four :
Fighting,
Dark,
Grass,
Fire,
Ice,
Ground and
Water..

It's common knowledge you must have a varied team to beat the Elite 4...

Yes, yes, indeed, we all believe in using six pokemon in our party.
We just wouldn't have it any other way, would we?

I disagree... I wiped the Elite four off the map with a team of 3. Your Pokemon types don't have to be that varied, but your MOVESETS do.

Starmie
Surf
Psychic
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt

Marowak
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Aerial Ace
Swords Dance

Blissey
Softboiled
Seismic Toss
Thunder Wave
Ice Beam (since this is in-game, I see no use for Aromatherapy yet)

That team powered through the Elite 4 with very little difficulty. Just make sure you vary your movesets and everything will be fine. You're only in trouble if you end up with a Pokemon like this one:

Moltres
Flamethrower
Fire Blast
Overheat
Fire Spin

See the difference between that and my team?

So am I... I traded them from my LG game... At any rate, I just wanted to give him an idea of what his movesets should look like.

yep there certainly are. if only they read the rules then we wouldnt have to complain.anyway sticking to the topic, the elite 4 are probably the most easy people after you beat them 5 times.

Here are some helpful movesets.

Sidney
Blaziken@Leftovers(Trust me on this)
Brick Break
Blaze Kick
Peck
Sky Uppercut

(any fighting type that would also help on a different Elite 4 member)

Ghost-user
Sneasel(trade)@Not really sure which item would be best
Faint attack
Ice Punch
Beat up
Agility/Swords Dance

Houndoom@Charcoal
Fire Blast
Bite
Crunch
Flamethrower

Glalie
Simply use Blaze and your other fighting type. Also throw in Doom.

Drake
Tough nut to crack but use Sneasel

Walrein@Leftovers
Ice Ball
Ice Beam
Rest
Snore

Steven
Blaze
Doom
Any Pokemon that can ko a Steel type.

I did it this way:

Sidney
Surfed the pure Dark Pokemon: Absol and Mightyena
Used flying attacks on Cacturne/Shiftry and Thunderbolted Sharpedo

Phoebe
Crunched the Dusclops' and Bannetes
Used any powerful attack on Sablye

Glacia
Used powerful Steel attacks on Glalies. (Metal Claw and Meteor Mash)
Thundered the Sealeos and the Walrein

Drake
Icebeamed entire team...

Steven
Thunderbolted Skarmory
Icebeamed Cradily
Powerful Ground Attack like Fissure or Earthquake on Aggron and Mettagross
Surfed Claydol and Armaldo

I bet Steven without any Fire-type attacks. I didn't need a Fighting Pokemon eather because Mightyena and Absol are too easy! I found Phoebe the hardest.
