Do you guys understand that you don't need to log out?

The forum checks whether you clicked on a link, if you did then for the next 5 (could be anything, just an example) minutes the forum thinks you are logged in unless you log out.

When you stop doing something, that is do nothing for the 5 minutes I mentioned above, the forum thinks you are logged out.

Next time you come here, you are logged in.

Just incase you didn't check the Remember Me box in the log-in area, you close your browser, and then open it again and come to PE2K, you are not logged it.

So, even if you don't log out and close the browser, it is the same as logging out.

You'd prefer to do these, instead of logging out every time, unless you have more people on your computer, in that case also, closing the browser should help.

Well, some people would rather just log out and in each time for security reasons. It's a personal preference.

I guess it is, like when you get more experienced you understand that it doesn't matter.

Not that it actually provides more security though, as I said.
I just posted that to tell every one of those people who do log-out, that they could go the simpler and smaller way, nothing else.

What happens if he has a brother/sister who comes on this forum though? They'd have instant access to his account.

Didn't I already specify that if you have not selected 'Remember Me' when logging in and you close your browser, you log out?

As soon as you close your browser, the cookies should go, unless the option is checked, which people rarely don't unless their siblings are part of the place.

EDIT: Plus, I did give the example of such a thing happening in my other post.
