how do I clone pokemon?

You really can't clone in FR/LG... (There is one way but it's risky)
You can clone pretty easily in Emerald though by depositing a pokemon in the PC at the Battle Tower, then save, and then withdraw it and take a challenge in the Multi Link and when she asks to save your game, don't answer the question and turn it off. There's a better guide elsewhere though. :P
