Overview
At the Sunyshore Gym, Volkner has a son. He's 12, and an Apprentice. He uses the gym's rental Pokemon. So he has no pokemon of his own. Volkner wants him to follow in his footsteps, and become the Sunyshore Gym Leader, but Jonny and Volkner both know the Jonny wants to become a real trainer and travel all of the Universe! Volkner really wants Jnny to follow in his footsteps, but he also knows that it's Jonny's only dream to become a real trainer.

Prolouge

"Ash Ketchum is truly remarkable! He has won every battle and it seems his little powerhouse Pikachu has helped him through all of it!" the TV Announcer roared. Jonny was watching a tournament, with one of his favorite Trainers, Ash Ketchum! As a Pokeblock commercial flared on Jonny heard his name.
"Jonny, come down stairs!" a voice Jonny new as his mother." We have a little suprise for you,"Jonny thought if it would be what he wanted then he started running then he knew he would never get his dream so he slowed down. Once he got into the kitchen he didn't see anything, just a bag on the table, and that Volkner looking at him.
"Well what's the emergancy?" Jonny asked hesitantly.He also saw a little child looked to be 10 years old.......
