Name: Falco
Skills: Creativity, good with ideas. I've been with the Pokemon series since the GBC and Red, Blue, and Yellow.
Positon: General Storyline (I can also help with general stuff if you want.)
Swear to always help, create, and support this game in the making?: Absolutely, utterly, and unequivocably.

Won't you please let me help? A lot of other game projects have been snooty and rejected me. I mean, come on. I'm FREE HELP!

I can come up with map ideas AND draw them (in rough form). However, my scanner's on the blink, so I can't upload them. So I can't do the mapping, sadly.

Do I have to shout it? If you have no programmer, you may not start a topic here. Period. You can't expect to start a new "Game Project", like everyone else, and have one of the few, mostly inactive, uber-skilled programmers that visit around once a year to help you. All you have going for you is a pair of generic version names, bad spriters (no offense to those in particular, but...), and the promise of new fundamental parts of a pokemon game. You haven't even mentioned the changes to core gameplay, other than n the list of things it will have. Mark my words: this will not succeed.

However, I admire these kinds of projects in themselves. The problem is the only board where these fit, other than General Board, has a restriction that you must have the ability to make it. They should really remove the limit, and add a sticky topic linking to all of the finished actual games and programming works in progress. This thing's nothing special, but for these types of programmer-less projects, PE2K needs an opening, and this is where rule-ignoring people generally post that sort of stuff anyway. Oh, and if you need a mapaker, see if Shady's still around.

Excuse me, TVTmaster, but are you flaming this project or complimenting it? Because if you're flaming it, there are better ways to do it. Such as keeping comments that aren't constructive to yourself. No offense, but this is a pet peeve for me.

Sigh....

I would've let this stay open if you hadn't burst out in a rage.
As for TVT, he was giving you constructive criticism.

Although you are allowed to start new threads for games in progress (even in early stages of the game), you must first demonstrate that the game will go somewhere by showing you know how to make the game and have a thorough plan for the game (a description/plot). In other words, if you have a plan for a game, but don't know how to make the game itself, please do make a thread for it (you need to know how to make the game first).
Read the rules. Get a programmer first, since spriters and stuff are way easier.
