I remember there being an option like this on both older boards, but I can't seem to find it now, has it been removed?

I think you meant automatically login? You just check the "Remember Me" box when you login, and each time you visit the forum, you'll be automatically logged in.

Also, could you find someone to make a smiley with the anime style sweatdrop? I loved that one
