Re: Gotta Catch 'Em All Johto: Gold Version (Open!)
(LoL, Damien xD Also, that is a sweet picture of an Onix)
Location: Tyrant's Prisoner
Team: (Flint) Cyndiquil [KO], (Buzz) Ledian [KO], Unown E <missing> Grimer (Egg)
Lee cursed as he was attacked by Spin's Noctowl. He should have known better! They would do whatever they thought was the "right thing", even if it involved dirty tricks. They could boast all they wanted that they were doing society a favor, but they couldn't get it through their thick heads that they were making a mistake. Lee wasn't about to go to jail for something he didn't do.
"At least the Chromes don't pretend to be something they're not," he muttered under his breath before Yellow came swooping in and saved his rear end.
He watched her in amazement, unable to understand why she was so willing to ruin her whole relationship with the Tyrant Clan for him? He was glad that someone had their head on right in this group, but why bother with Lee? He wasn't worth anything... The consequences of her actions would cost her...
Then Yellow turned and pleaded with him--and his mind went in two different directions.
Rock slides... Seth...
The capture had been to convenient. The stuff hadn't been his. Jealousy. Hatred.
Seth had been the one that set him up. The map had been his. The vials. The stolen Pokemon.
And if that map was his...
He was leading the Chromes into a trap.
Lee became all the more desperate to escape the Tyrants. He needed to hurry back to the Chromes before Seth could hatch his plan. He didn't care what he was--hero or criminal. Seth needed to be stopped. Lee hastily stood, backing away from the Tyrants. He paused before he could take off, however, glancing at Yellow. Her words returned to him.
"This shouldn't have happened. You've made poor choices Lee..Leave the Chromes and go back to being a normal guy before you wind up being the one caught in whatever rock slide you were planning.."
His lips tightened for a moment as he glanced between her, Spin, and Eric. Lee shook his head from side to side, his yellow eyes reflected a sad acknowledgment, "There never was a normal for me, Yellow. There probably never will be." Feeling ashamed, he lowered his gaze. "All I ever bring anyone is trouble. No matter how hard I try to do the right thing, I always manage to screw up. So... Why bother trying anymore?"
Those words seemed contrary to what he was about to attempt, but he was starting to think of it as his last great act. He might not be strong enough...
But he had a score to settle with Seth.
Soon after Spin was forced to step aside, the ground suddenly started rumbling. Lee flinched as nearby Bird Pokemon suddenly took to the air. He glanced around nervously, wondering if the Tyrants were trying to pull some other kind of trick. The telekinetic took several steps backwards, edgy and ready to bolt.
What was going on?
Lee bit his lip. As much as he was curious... he felt that other matters were more pressing. Using his powers to snag back his backpack, he turned and started running.
Yet underhandedly, he also collected the file the Tyrants had on him...
