I thought long and hard about this. I knew catching Tropius meant no Blitzle for a week. Tropius however, was a rare and prized Pokemon. I could easily come back after obtaining the Sirius Badge...
The elegant sauropod Pokemon was looking at me questionably. It obviously wanted to join me. It was ready for a challenge.
"I've made up my mind, and I've decided that I'm going to try and catch you!" I shouted.
"Volcano go! Eruption it!" I commanded.
Ashes and lava spewed from Volcano's back. Tropius was hit on it;s right wing, but managed to evade the rest. It countered with a powerful Nature Power! It turned into Seed Bomb! The seeds bombarded Volcano. He seemed alright, but slightly damaged.
"Urgh, well then, use Inferno!" I cried.
Volcano locked onto Tropius' movement. He started a small flame then...BURST! A Raging fire enveloped Tropius. This sent him flying to the ground. Now this was my chance...
