"Hmm, so this is the currency of this region?" He thought, before giving a wholehearted smile, and continuing to search the forests surrounding him, in search of pokemon.

You pocket the stars, happy to have won your first battle in Celestia. The forests around you are dense and beautiful - the trees give off a healthy green glow and you were just sure that many Pokemon took shelter in the woodlands.

You come across a small figure lying in the road. Startled, you run over to see if it is okay. A fluffy Pokemon is laying face down on the ground, barely breathing.

A wild Mincinno appeared!

It's a well known fact that Mincinno are rather speedy little critters - no way would your Makuhita ever catch up to it with those stumpy legs of theirs.

The Mincinno becomes tired of your games and flees into the forest, but not before waving at you and taunting your team.

*Official's Tip: You do not have to make a single post ordering attacks when encountering a Pokemon. The best way to capture Pokemon is to write a paragraph explaining the encounter and the battle yourself, making sure both Pokemon get some attacks in and then stating that you've thrown a Poke Ball at the end of the post. Of course, if you're just toying with the Pokemon and don't intend to catch it, feel free to disregard this.

JC rushes up to get to Pidgey. Pidgey lands back on JC's arm. The Pidgey looks tired.
" You did good, the Mincinno is tired. Lets not underestimate it with this next go around."

JC nods as Pidgey shakes off the hit and takes off flying back towards Mincinno. Pidgey stays mind of Mincinnos tail this time around. Using Quick Attack to Strike fast and move back.

"Good Job Areo ! stay focused! Lets kick up some sand to distract it !"

Pidgey dives in and out knocking sand all over the place. Pidgey then flies up landing on a branch ! It takes a second waiting for Mincinno to appear then heads in for one last powerful quick attack.
Official's Post:

Mincinno takes the blow quite badly from your Pidgey's Quick Attack - its beak stabs into the chinchilla-like Pokemon's body and forces it backwards into the grass. Then, before the Pokemon has a chance to retaliate, your bird flies closer to the ground and starts flapping its wings with force - flurries of sand gather into small swirls and sprays into the Mincinno's eyes, blinding it temporarily.

Now would be a decent chance to throw your Poke Ball.

~Rubbing the sand out of its eyes
